Cancun Hotel Guide - Beach Hotels in Cancun, Quintana Roo

Check in is not till 4pm. We arrived about 11am to get a jump on our first day and our room was already available. That started out our week awesome. On top of that when we arrived at the front the door man asked for our names and directed us where to go since there are two parts to the hotel. So we didn't waste time trying to check in on the wrong section. Check in was a breeze and again our room was already ready. Big Plus!!!! Arrived to our room, unpacked, got dressed for the pool and down we went. The service was great everywhere we went. From the restaurants, bar, market and washing room. My favorite has to be the Hacienda Sisal. Although the food and service was great in all locations the Hacienda Sisal was my go to place. We were here for 5 in a half days and it was our best vacation yet. Will return again to enjoy some tours we didn't get to do.

This hotel offers a great location: right in front of a beautiful ocean and less than 2 minutes walk distance to the heart of Cancun where the restaurants and clubs are. For those trying to sleep at night, prefer the suites located in front of the hotel. The new section (currently under construction) offers great prices, but it is very noisy due to the clubbing action until 4am. I was in one of those in my first night. Then, due to the high volumes of noise and construction I requested to be switched to a quieter section of the hotel. The staff was amazing and without hesitation placed me in a room right in front of the beach in the quiet and beautiful section. Amazing service and the hotel is great. If you are looking for fancy, not your hotel. If you are looking for an amazing affordable travel option, this is the best option in town.

Staff were all pleasant and helpful, you are right on the beach, large pool and kids area is separate, hot tubs....and beautiful views. Had a great stay

The Royal Cancun is a bit smaller and older than some of the other resorts in the Hotel Zone, but we had a great stay and will definitely return. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The resort is small enough that it is easy to navigate, but still provided everything we were looking for. It is located on a calm beach perfect for swimming, has two swimming pools (one with a swim-up bar), decent food options, and easy transportation to other resorts. This would be a great resort for families with kids as it didn't have the wild, "party" atmosphere that some of the other resorts have. We appreciated the quiet, relaxing, but still fun vibe.

I found Emporio Cancun Hotel & Suites through Expedia. It seems that none of my American friends who has visited Cancun heard of this hotel.The demographic was mostly Mexican, South American, and some European guests. I saw very few American guests. Emporio is located on the Hotelera strip of Cancun. I booked the 1 bedroom suite oceanfront hotel for 7 days. The suite included a living room integrated with a dining section. The living room also included 2 additional murphy beds for the extra guests you may have. There was a full kitchen with all the kitchen utensils available. The balcony is connected with the master bedroom and the living room. The best part about the suite was waking up to the Carribean blue sea every morning. The hotel was very comfortable and accommodating. All the hotel staffs were very friendly always greets you as you walk by them. The resort has a decent size pool. The only thing I wish they have was a Jacuzzi.

Nice place to stay. Staff was friendly. We definitely would book this hotel again...We stayed in the basic room since we knew our time would be spent on the beach or nearby attractions.
