"Best Location & Beach on Hotel Row!"
This was our second stay at the Hyatt Ziva, and we were not disappointed again. We love the many choices of pools or beachside areas to sunbath. It is large enough, that you never felt crowded, even when the resort was busy. Great idea with adding the food truck poolside for lunch service, it was a hit for all, and thought the menu was good, and quality of food good. We enjoyed all of the restaurants at some point, and thought the quality of the food had not only improved, but was high quality. This year, my Wife's favorite was Lorenzo's, mine was Tradewinds. The resort was clean, food and drink was plentiful, and the service was outstanding. The beachside staff trudging through the sand to serve guest were not only friendly, but soon became part of the experience with their pleasant attitudes, and we knew them all by name. The 24/7 area was great, we used it every morning for breakfast, the coffee shop was fast and service was good. My wife loved the candy shop, and we had to stop by daily for gummy worms! One suggestion, I smoke cigars, and had no issue smoking on the beach, but saw cigarette smokers poolside, huddled around the smoking post by the restrooms almost in shame. Could you not create a smoking area, that includes a place to sit, that would make the experience better, not in shame? We are already planning our next trip back, our only dilemma, do we come back to the Ziva, or back to the Zilara, where we stayed 2 years ago, both experiences make it a tough choice!
