"The residence is actually located on Tulum golf resort and Bahia Principe is across the highway. There's nothing to do on the residential side. You will definitely need to rent a vehicle which they assisted with. Please download Whatsapp, you will need it! All communications went through the app. Front desk was helpful but again nothing is at the golf resort. You can purchase armbands for the resort across the highway but no transportation is provided. "Rude staff, I rented a hotel price arbnb place and I thought I was renting a hotel room. No service, noone came to take out trash and noone came to bring an extra roll of toilet paper. When asked if we can acess the pools - hard NO … when asked why- Well since last year we changed our policy but we haven’t changed the information online, and we need DAILY PASS OF $60-$100 depending which pool. Very misleading. When asked about hot water - we will fixed and they never did. "

"My family stayed here for 2 nights. This villa is very spacious with two bedrooms: one with a king bed, and the other room has two single beds so it's perfect for my family. There's a full kitchen with a huge fridge and nice gas stove. The roof top area is nice too but unfortunately the hammock was broken and we didn't have a chance to use the roof top jaccuzi. Just a note that the roof top is accessible from a stairway OUTSIDE of the house. Also we had some issues with the hot water...

"We had very mixed feelings about our stay. While the food itself was fantastic, several operational issues made the trip unnecessarily stressful: - Not truly All-Inclusive: Be prepared to pay extra at the parks. The majority of the premier activities at Xel-Ha require additional out-of-pocket fees. - Restaurant Reservations: We tried booking a month in advance and waited on hold for over an hour, yet many restaurants were still completely unavailable. - Stressful Checkout: The checkout process was frustratingly slow, feeling intentionally drawn out so staff could pitch vacation packages while we were in a hurry to leave. Beautiful property and great food, but the rigid systems and high-pressure upselling detract from the luxury experience."

"Por 7 años visto este resort pero veo que los alimentos en el bufet de playa y el de albercas ha bajado bastante la calidad, además el bufet principal estaba en remodelación y afectó muchísimo mi estancia está vez.. El servicio de transporte que tienen para ir a la playa se encuentra en pésimo estado, creo que con lo que el resort cobra podría mejorar o comprar una nueva unidad para el servicio de los huéspedes. La ubicación es excelente para visitar los demás parques de Grupo Xcaret , ojalá y puedan mejorar esos detalles pues varios huéspedes comentaron los mismos inconvenientes ."

"We concluded a 5 night stay at this resort and have been to probably 10+ resorts in Cancun over the past dozen or more years. Arrival started out OK as our flight got in well before 3pm check-in, so we enjoyed a lunch until that time. Room mix-up then resulted in us not getting into our booked room type til 5pm. We were in Building 6B, so spent most of our daytime at the "lazy river pool". Santos from nearby Revive bar was FANTASTIC with every single interaction. Nice pool with plenty of available chairs and palapas, but snagging a resort pool float was always an adventure. Easier just packing your own inflatable one. Breakfast was solid & very similar to typical Cancun all-inclusive buffets, though maybe smaller with slightly fewer options than most. We normally eat a good breakfast & skip lunch, though we did hit Las Olas one day and enjoyed our food. Dinner was another story, mainly due to renovations at multiple locations. Not sure why THREE places - Chez Isabelle, Agave, and Aroma coffee bar - were all selected to be closed at the same time, as I'd much rather them close one at a time to minimize inconvenience and confusion to guests. Those 3 locations were still available but at different locations. For example, Agave was sometimes open at Oregano, meaning no Italian choice that night. Food was good & service was always great. This is the third Excellence resort we've visited and I'd place it in the middle with Playa Mujeres easily at the top and Punta Cana below."
