"Ok the hotel and location is great, breakfast is included with you stay ( the breakfast is good) is very close to beach 88 who is used the majority by locals, is only 2 issue's one is not elevator in the hotel so you have to carry you luggage to you room and the second is parking you have to park in the street when you arrive is not parking by the street due to people using the beach but after the beach close people leave and you have enough space to park. "We stayed at The Reef Coco Beach in Playa del Carmen and upgraded to the Premium package—definitely worth it! From the moment we arrived, the service felt elevated. We were greeted with a welcome drink and a bottle of wine in the room, and the minibar was restocked daily, which was a great touch.
The beach is beautiful and steps away, though a bit narrow in places. The VIP bar (Bar & Mar) was perfect for relaxing with premium cocktails in a more private setting. Having access to the Japanese restaurant Samurai was a highlight—delicious food and fun teppanyaki-style cooking.
We also loved that we could use the amenities at the sister resort (Reef Playacar)—they even included the shuttle!"

"The property, food, service, and pools were all top tier and I have nothing but good things to say.
One thing I didn’t like was that there was construction going on every day besides sunday on the Impressions roof top, which sucked because we had to pay extra to be there on that roof top. We actually ended up staying on the preferred roof top more often because there was no construction. Another thing that isn’t great is the smell of sea weed (although this is not the fault of secrets). One final thing that is not great about the resort is the beach. If you are looking for a nice beach, go to a different resort. Nobody was on the beach, and we didn’t stay at all at the beach.
The resort was very safe and the staff very welcoming. Our butlers and waiters were the best service I have had at a resort.
However, there was one event that made my wife feel extremely uncomfortable. During dinner one night, one of the servers was staring and whistling at my wife. I had found out after the fact, and raised the concern to one of our butlers. They assured us that this incident would be investigated, but we never heard back. This really bummed us out.
Overall, I give it a 4/5 for the resort. It really was a nice resort and we enjoyed our time (besides the incidents that I highlighted above)."
"This was my second time at one of the princess resorts, first was grand sunset. I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were very attentive to our needs. There wasn’t a second where they didn’t go above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. "
