The pool area matches the pictures, very beautiful. BUT, that is truly the only thing accurate. The rooms are much older in appearance, appliances completely outdated, half the lights were not working, and the ceiling started leaking during a moderate amount of rain (I was on the 2nd floor out of 3 levels, so not even on the top). The service from the bellboy service was unacceptable - upon arrival, we asked if someone could help us with our bags, we got a “no, but keep walking that way and you should find it”. Not even explaining if it’s because of lack of service or anything - we saw another bellboy on the way and asked for directions a couple of times, the second time he answered with “the room numbers are written outside the door like I told you”. There is SO MUCH WALKING, so please keep that in mind if you have trouble with this. The food was somewhat decent. Not enough bartenders at the pools and had to wait forever for service, and they were not kind even when we tipped well. People mark all chairs by the pool by 8am and would not even come to the spot until the afternoon, COVID tests not included and were $70 USD each (told you could only use QR code via phone OR cash to pay, did not accept cards), food by the pool gave both of us days of food poisoning even after the trip, shoes were stolen by the pool, and severe lack of elevators throughout the whole property. I frequent Cancun (3.2-4.7 star resorts) but would NEVERRRRR stay here again.
