"The Entire Staff is very professional. The food is very good. And the restaurant selection is excellent. The only disappointment was the room was sold as Ocean front when in fact there are trees and Other structures between the room and the ocean. The beach is very clean but the water is not crystal clear as expected."

"Good hotel for a family with kids overall, most distinctive advantage was definitely food - plentiful, flavourful and presented well. Most of the staff were hospital and positive towards guests. Pool area with the slides was also fun with kids. Pool side room was a big plus due to a front yard area with loungers and fake grass, perfect for a toddler to enjoy. The beach doesn’t really exist here, just some sand with chairs, no sea access. You will need to walk to next resort to be able enjoy the sea. I would say one time trip here is great,"

"Very clean, the only complain I have is that some of the areas are under construction and we weren’t aware . Mornings we were up in the noise of cranes and hammers - we had junior suite with pool and part of the view was blocked with covers for construction. The sales teams is super agresive and from 90 min presentation we end up spending 3h and 30 min . Overall for the price we paid services were excellent"

"This was our first time staying in Playa and we did enjoy it thoroughly. You can see all kinds of animals walking around the resort, it’s like it was placed directly in the jungle. The kids loved it. It’s a beautiful property, huge, and doesn’t feel at all crowded. Breakfast and lunch is good at the lobby buffet, which plenty of options. We didn’t care for the food at dinner at the buffet, so we went to the restaurants for dinner which were great and the staff at the restaurant were very nice. The snack shack food was not good, and it’s really the only place to get food near the pool if you don’t go to the buffet, I wish there was more options for snacks and foods (fruits, smoothies, ceviche, etc) around. We’ve been spoiled at other resorts but it makes it much easier to have food around the pools. That’s really the only thing we disliked was food options during the day. With how big of a property it is, you would think there would be more options spread around. Maybe more than one shuttle running during the evenings would be helpful. The waterpark is fantastic, our little girl loved it and it’s all very inclusive for a variety of ages. The beach is beautiful, lots of chairs and Talapas and easy access for kids."
