We had a wonderful 10-day stay at Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen. From the moment we arrived, we appreciated the hotel's relaxed atmosphere and the quality of its facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed the lively pool entertainment, the many workshops and activities offered throughout the day, the delicious cocktails, and the wide variety of food available at both the buffet and the à la carte restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The staff deserve special recognition. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. A special thank you goes to José, the Manager on Duty, whose exceptional professionalism and genuine care made our stay even more enjoyable. He responded promptly to our requests and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great vacation. In our opinion, this hotel is an excellent choice for couples looking for a vacation focused on relaxation, great food, fun activities, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, it's important to know that the beach is not the hotel's main attraction. On the other hand, if you're looking for a beautiful pool, outstanding service, quality entertainment, excellent dining options, and a modern, relaxing environment Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen is a destination we recommend without hesitation.

We went there for our anniversary and for a birthday. We had the most amazing time ever the food was spectacular. The grounds were immaculate. The rooms were beautiful. It was one of the best trips that we have ever went on. It does get a little quiet towards the end of the night, but it didn’t bother us at all because we hung out by the pool and the pool there’s always something to do there was a DJ and a lot of entertainment.

Rooms were clean enough. Pool wasn’t that clean. Hence, that’s why I’m not giving 5 stars. Staffs were great. Food was ok. It’s rated as 4 and half stars, but it’s more like 3 and half to 4 stars max. Bathrooms were small. Doors of the bathrooms needs to be replaced. Liquid body soap and shampoo had no scent. My family and I were a group of 16 people. We chose this resort was mainly due to the beach, but unfortunately, the beach had red flag and tons of seaweed. Huge disappointment. The only restaurant was decent was Asiana, Barefood (Grab & Go, and the café. Pelicanos and La Casona were not good. Dolma was ok, but not great. Therefore, nothing about it was special. Will not come back here again. Our family made the best of it while we can. We had a great time due to the quality time with our family. Otherwise, we will not stay here again.

This property made of family vacation filled with fun and good times. It covered everything from over nine places to eat and snack with you wanna be fancy or just hang up in casual clothes a pool overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and endless elegance. We traveled as a family of eight and everyone has so many good things to say about the property. The staff is excellent and really pay attention to every detail to make everyone comfortable.. They really took all inclusive to a new level, this was awesome.!

Wow, wow, wow! Those are the only words that come to mind when I think about our stay. This hotel is simply AMAZING. Everything runs perfectly. It is spotless, spacious, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are huge, incredibly comfortable, and so welcoming that you truly feel at home. The food was outstanding. The Mexican restaurants were absolutely delicious, and Asiana was on a whole different level in terms of quality. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance to try Dolma, but based on our experience with everything else, we have no doubt it is excellent as well. The icing on the cake was the service. Every single employee we encountered was kind, respectful, warm, and genuinely committed to making sure we had the best possible experience. We would especially like to recognize Antonio at Pelícano, whose sweet and relaxed personality made every visit enjoyable, and Andy at one of the Mexican restaurants, who went above and beyond with his attention to detail. Their hospitality truly made a difference. We experienced an exceptional level of service throughout our stay, and we will gladly return in the future. The only negative aspect of our experience was the VIP sales team. My goodness… they simply don’t let you breathe while trying to sell their membership. In our case, they even told us that the ferry port to Cozumel was closed in an attempt to convince us to sign up for their program. That was very disappointing and inappropriate. There should be

The suite was great. We had a hot tub in the room which was great. The staff were very nice and eager to help with anything you needed. Pool was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend renting a cabana next to the pool. We had a spa day with massages and hydrotherapy, both were top notch. We will definitely be booking another trip.

Our swim up was dirty. Tiles were molded. Rented a cabana only to have a girl puke in the pool and when I told the helpers, they didn’t get her out asap. Was told we would get some compensation…. We didn’t. Not my cup of tea

The location was good on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. We were put on different level from our friends facing the street. We were told if we wanted a garden or pool view it would be extra. It was an adult only but everything shut down early by midnight and you couldn’t get a drink after that.
