Hotel Riu Palace Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

"The staff was so kind and helpful. Lupita at the front desk sent a special gift to the room because we were celebrating my daughter’s college graduation. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean and neat. Hotel was very well maintained and the grounds were beautiful. Pools were a little warm but still relaxing. Overall, it was a great stay."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Grand Riviera Princess Resort in Riviera Maya! From the beautiful grounds and stunning pools to the beach, restaurants, and activities, there was something for everyone in our family to enjoy. The resort was beautiful, spacious, and full of things to do. We especially loved being able to relax by the pools, enjoy the beach, and spend quality time together as a family. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There was such a fun and relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort, and we truly felt like we were able to unwind and enjoy our vacation. It was the perfect family getaway, and we made so many wonderful memories here. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Grand Riviera Princess to families looking for a beautiful resort with plenty to see, do, and enjoy! 🌴☀️🌊❤️"

"Definitely a great location, if you’re planning to come to Playa and visit fifth Avenue. Walking distance to everywhere, the staff is amazing, the resorts clean, and I met so many amazing people there. The beach area is very small, but you can walk across the pier and be at a really good beach area. Overall, I will definitely come back and visit."

Barceló Maya Palace - All Inclusive

"We have stayed at the Barcelo Palace resort for the last 15+ years. The resort is very well maintained and the Palace pool is the largest I have ever seen in person. You never feel crowded as there is a lot of space to move around between the swim up bar, bubbler, and lounging cabanas. Our rooms are always clean and the air conditioning works wonderfully. Keep in mind this is a large resort and some rooms are a long walk to the buffet and pool areas. On our last trip this past July, we realized they no longer have irons in the room. For some this may not matter but for those that it does, bring along a travel iron. I also noticed wash cloths are not given unless asked for. Not a major concern but still a bit odd they are not automatically included. Our only 'challenge' was making reservations for a la carte restaurants. It was difficult to make a reservations for a time earlier than 9:30pm in certain restaurants and others were not available the entire week. We made it work and do not have an issue with the buffets so it did not spoil our trip. Overall, my family loves this resort. We go every other year and always have a more positive than negative experience. The beach is absolutely beautiful! Seaweed is hit or miss but that is not the resort's fault. They do a wonderful job to clean as much as possible. Definitely give it a chance, you will love it!"

"The beach is amazing. Very clear water and lots of fishes . It’s a perfect beach for small children , there is no waves or seaweed. Also very convenient hotel for Dolphins activities and Xcaret park. Maybe 5-8 min walk . Lots of animals in the hotel ."
