We stayed here 7 years ago and decided to go back 11/21. I read some of the recent reviews and they scared me into thinking that the resort deteriorated since our last stay but we had an excellent time. Staff is friendly. Food is delicious especially the steak house restaurant and the Italian restaurant . Yes, you have to walk to the lobby every morning to make reservations for the next day, the walk is nice and healthy to burn off all the extra calories you’re consuming on the vacation. The car to take you around comes around every 15 min or so but only seats about 10. Yes, there is only 1 car, they can definitely improve that, but we didn’t mind walking. Yes, there are wild animals around the property, we were excited to spot coatis, deer, a family of monkeys, gorgeous birds and lots of aquatic animals at the beach. If you don't like nature, this isn’t a place for you. The resort is built on wetlands with lots of nature surrounding it. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a kids club if you have children with daily activities such as tie dye, Ceramics, art &crafts, sand castle building competition etc. you can leave your child with the staff here 10-5pm or stay with them for the activities they want to do. This is an included service.

Service was excellent , very accommodating and understanding , beautiful grounds, Breakfast was delicious, very happy that we stayed at this resort, highly recommended😃

Pretty much everything was perfect! Our constructive criticisms are not huge things at all...a) the main pool was chilly b) slightly uncomfortable sofa in our room (very boxy), and c) provide more bath towels. That's it! We would go back again tomorrow if we could!!
