Amazing experience: exactly what we needed in Tulum We moved to Delek Tulum after having a disappointing experience at Azulik, and the difference was incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They made our group feel comfortable and immediately turned our trip around. The property was clean, well maintained, and everything worked exactly as it should. The A/C kept the rooms comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the amenities were clean and fully functional, and having a beautiful pool to enjoy was a huge plus. What stood out the most, however, was the staff and the service. Everyone we interacted with was attentive, kind, and happy to help. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming, which is exactly what you want when vacationing in Tulum. After moving hotels, we were finally able to relax and enjoy the rest of our vacation. Our entire group of six was very happy with the decision to stay at Delek. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Delek Tulum to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, welcoming place with excellent service. Thank you to the entire Delek team for turning our trip around!

Beautiful property, but nowhere near a five-star experience. I’d give Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres about a 5/10. My biggest complaint was the food. The specialty restaurants were hyped but disappointing. The hibachi had no real performance, low-quality meat, cold/bland rice, overly sweet flavors, and the “sushi bar” was basically two pieces of sushi. The ramen was unauthentic and several menu items were unavailable. The steakhouse was also disappointing: chewy, poorly cooked steak and “truffle fries” that tasted like regular fries. The dessert shop was another letdown. The crepes looked nothing like the examples on the screens and felt cheaply thrown together. I also saw employees handling them without gloves. Ironically, the buffet was the best food because what you saw was what you got. Restaurant service was extremely slow despite the resort not seeming full. The whole place felt understaffed. Even getting a full can of seltzer required an employee to ask a manager, which made the “all-inclusive” experience feel cheap. We were promised an ocean-view upgrade and waited about two extra hours, only to get no ocean view. The resort is new, yet I already noticed cracks, worn finishes, and poor bathroom ventilation. The beach is nice, but seaweed cleanup is hit or miss and the smell can be strong. Pools were warm, rooms were nice, and some bar drinks were good. Overall, the food, service, cleanliness, and attention to detail do not match a five-star resort.
