The property has a truly exceptional staff. From the moment you arrive, you receive a warm and welcoming experience, especially from the concierge team assigned to your room. We had the pleasure of having Alan and Ana assist us during our stay, and they were extremely helpful, polite, and attentive. We traveled with our two children, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make them feel comfortable and welcome. They gave our kids the attention and assistance they needed and made sure every request was handled with care. We truly appreciate the outstanding service and hospitality. The staff made our stay even more enjoyable, and we would be happy to return!

We stayed for 9 nights and there was not a day without some kind of mistake or misunderstanding. The staff is very very polite and friendly, but they lack professionalism and training. Some servers in the restaurants don’t speak very good English, so that can be an area of improvement. The overall impression is that the whole operation is out of tune. Strong management and review of all aspects of operations is recommended. Alila is not on par with the rest of the Mayakoba hotels.
