Only complaint is that the minute you get there, they are trying to "hustle you" to try and go see another resort and sell you vacation packages. They called my room constantly, they would almost tackle me @ the Lobby to take this tour. After speaking to numerous guest, the credits they offer you, is not worth the 5-6 hours they keep you in a place trying to sell you packages.
Go there to relax, not to get constantly get bombarded with cheap sales tricks!

Besides this, great place!
Great ocean front rooms , very attentive staff , love the swimming pools and swim up bar ! Food was good , restaurant choices are pretty diverse , the food can be punched up a few levels and then you have 5 star all inclusive . Overall we had a fantastic 5 nights :)
My wife and I, along with our three daughters (ages: 21, 27 and 30) stayed from 8/23 thru 8/27. Although it's one of the smaller/older resorts in Cancun it doesn't disappoint. The restaurants exceeded our expectations with atmosphere, service and menu and quality of food. Service and staff throughout the resort were more than accommodating and always with a smile.
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The staff was very receptive to my wife and I request. They were all very courtious and polite. My wife is a native Spanish speaker and I can get by. Enough of the staff speaks English so there is not an issue there. The food was great and the receiptionist and director are very personable. Miguel and his staff in the restaurants are professional and warm and inviting. I would definitely come back.
Check in was easy and they'll have a cocktail waiting for you as you check in. Workers are extremely humble polite and helpful. As in every resort there are companies trying to sell you exertions bUT you can just walk by them. Pool was perfect and they have waiter service by the pool and beach. Get down to pool to pick your chairs by the pool or under cover and leave a towel on it and it's yours all day. Food is good. They have 5 restaurants. Sunset grill is not good but the burgers are phenomenal. Marias is great for dinner...I can't remember the name but the restaurant by the pool was our favorite because there is a great breeze coming off the beach and they have ceiling fans. Would definitely go back again.
The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.
