Our first trip to Cancun and enjoyed our stay at the resort. The seafood was terrific and the staff was pleasant and courteous. If you are from NY or DC area and are accustomed to good restaurants you won't be disappointed with MB, great service and overall atmosphere. The only complaint were a couple of the other guests on our first day at the resort , a bit too boisterous but fortunately it settled down and we were able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Overall rating given the cost is near a 5.
First this is a Brand New Hotel!!!! The staff was amazing and soooo loving. My room was to die for. This hotel is literally something you would dream of I kept pinching myself to make sure I was away. The food and drinks oh boy was amazing. I literally was tired of eating and drinking I was always stuffed. I am visiting this hotel again in a couple months or so with some friends.
I went cancun as thanksgiving break! I love to put some review of this resort! I love to be in this resort. The room is bigger than I was expected. Staffs are so friendly and nicely to us! The food is realIy good ( italian restaurant and steakhouse). want to use this resort again when I go back to cancun trip! Also, this resort good for family~!!
The staff were very nice, with the exception of the hotel manager, who had the personality of a rock. The restaurant staff and Jesus, who took care of our luggage, were fantastic. We never ate in the restaurant but the margaritas were good. You can sit right on the lagoon and have a drink, and maybe even see a crocodile swim by! The pool was also beautiful. Overall, it was a good stay.
In 2003, I had a terrible experience in Cancun. I was lodging at another resort, had a bad time with locals, and swore Cancun off (so I thought). After many recommendations, I booked 5 days at Le Blanc, and my only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Don't be misled, the fit and finish of the facilities isn't Vegas level, and I'm afraid they might have an addiction to painting (everything has multiple coats and the occasional drip), but holy smokes, the staff. The staff are incredible. Each floor has a butler, and he will unpack your suitcase upon check in, pack it upon departure, take care of evening aromatherapy for the room, fill your jacuzzi tub at a time you specify, and pretty much handle everything you could ever want. Be warned, there is a duality in concierge service, and you will most likely get asked to visit with a representative under the guise of "Palace Concierge". After realizing what was going down, I halted the conversation and moved along. The odd part is that I kind of wish I had gone to the presentation for their "timeshare" after hearing so many of the other guests that participate and all had glowing reviews. (I realize that's kind of a biased sample, but oh well.).
If you're offended by the mere thought of being offered a "presentation", just don't go to the three desks to the right of the main concierge.
One more thing. Don't get the lobster.
I say all of this so that you can have the perfect experience. Go, please go! It's great!
Business trip, went for a conference. Hotel right across the street from Convention Center.
Very nice staff, biggest, nicest pool and Spa I have ever seen.
Food great. Fantastic views. Nothing to complain.
This hotel is not cheap but if I compare to other high end North American Hotels it appears well priced to me.
We had a wonderful time! The hotel staff was always attentive. Service at the VIP club was wonderful!!! We had to change our plans the day we were checking out since the water was turned off for about two hours. They allowed us to check out much later.
The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.
