I’m rating this property 5 stars because the rooms are wonderful!! The beds are very comfortable, bathroom is huge and the shutters make the room dark. The icing on the cake is the private pool in the patio! If you asked for the staff to warm it up, it stays on until 10pm and it’s the absolute perfect temperature. I’m not sure if all the upstairs rooms are the same but we were put initially in an upstairs room and the AC was via control and very weak, making the room hot. They immediately moved us downstairs and it was the perfect temperature with actual central air conditioning. The ambiance in the hotel was boring as not many people on the property. The beaches in tulum are ugly due to algae and the hotel pool is a joke, barely bigger than a jacuzzi. Also the hotel food is not that good. BUT like I said, perfect room with an amazing private pool. The hotel is within 1/2 mile from the main strip (1 mile from major clubs, 20 min walk). The area was very safe to walk even though the hotel is not right next to the action. Gym is also small but has weights up to 60 lbs dumbbells, cardio machine, bench and curl bars. The staff is very nice and even though we staid out late every night in the pool, they never said anything to us. I’d definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time as a family at this resort. We were taken care of adequately, there are many options for dining and the pool areas were not overly crowded. I know every family has different expectations for these resorts so below are the areas we felt were a little less than ideal. First, the air conditioning in our room could not keep up with where we put the thermostat. We had another family with us that ran into the same situation. It wasn't a big deal but we didn't sleep as comfortably as we would have liked. Second, the lines for drinks at the bars were too long. You had to wait quite a while to get served. Another bartender at each swimup bar would make a world of difference. With our family, we enjoy shows after dinner at night. The nightlife at this resort is intended for adults over 18 years of age. 17 and younger don't have much to do after dinner. Some compliments we have for the resort are that there is a variety of food options, plenty of pool space, opportunities for excursions and the gym/workout area was adequate for our needs. We have to give a special shout out to Martin, Carlos and Hector in the FountainBleu Bar. We ended each night there and those gentlemen took care of us and made sure we have a great time! Much appreciation for those guys! In all, this resort fit the bill for an all-inclusive resort. When we travel we normally pick a different resort each time and will continue to do so.
