"Radhoo was incredible!!! Honestly from the service, the rooms, the food, the staff's willingness to help, the convenience... this place was simply AMAZING. 10000/10 recommend. It's a romantic cozy get away for couples. The only complaint, as others have said, is lighting at night but that was a common problem in the Tulum area. "My experience at Umi Tulum was wonderful! First, the property looks exactly like the photos. Everything was incredibly clean, I was surprised of how well they cleaned the sand from our room each day! The private pool, restaurant, cafe, and beach club were all spectacular. However, the best part of our stay were the people. All of the staff were so kind and the service was top notch. Diego especially went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and exciting trip. He kindly upgraded our room when there was a delay in having ours ready, helped us find cash, book appointments with local spas, and figure out how to get around as easily as possible. On our last day we had to rush to check out, Diego coordinated retrieving our belongings and talking with the shuttle driver to make sure we made it to the airport in time. I wasn’t able to properly thank him prior to leaving but he truly made our trip unforgettable and I am so grateful for the staff and hope to return in the future!"

"This property uses a system of code bar to enter the property since there is no staff after 6pm. The code bar was sent to my phone but never worked. I had to call the security guard every night to be able to enter and jump the gate in the day time to enter. Every day in the morning the staff recheck the code bar but it never worked. The parking is located 400 meters from the property and across the street. The gate is always closed and locked down. Every time I needed to park my car, which occurred at least two times a day, I had to leave it in front the gate walk to the hotel front desk or call the security. Someone would then walk back with me and unlock the parking gate. One day a police man came to inquire why I had left my car in front of the gate! I explained him why he was not pleased! This is an embarrassing situation no one wants on a vacation. Every time I needed to go out using my car someone had to come with me to unlock the gate. This was very enoying and made my stay there unpleasant. The roof top pool and lounge which was displayed in the pictures was closed for repairs. This was a disappointment since this was one of the factors that attracted us to that hotel! I would never reserve that place again."

"Staff was not very friendly, didn’t give me info about property or food accommodations even though it said breakfast included so I sat for over an hour to be told oh it doesn’t start till 9:30am then at 9:30 am still no one which after a day of travel I was starving and needed coffee. Considering I booked this stay due to breakfast being ready and not having it after an awful check in, random people knocking at my door at midnight, I could hear the couple in the room next door having sex because it’s a shipping container not a hotel so the walls don’t reach the ceilings, and there was sand in my bed before I even went near sand so the sheets didn’t feel clean and there was no attempt to solve the problem I was having with the hotel. I don’t typically leave reviews but I’ve never had a worse experience in my 10 years of solo traveling. "
