"Nice Hotel, Adults only, great service"
It was the 2nd time we had been in 6 weeks and it was even better the 2nd time. The staff remembered us. It was low season so the hotel was barely at half-capacity. It is small property with only 96 rooms by my count. 2 restaurants and room service. Lovely beach view, no beach access.
Pros: Service (Santos, Nemesio, and Isiah to name just a few) is spectacular. Especially if you tip a little. $1 is currently 18 mexican pesos so a few bucks goes a long long way. The rooms are super clean and are cleaned every day. The whirlpool in the room is slow (they warn you at the front desk) but it is really really nice once it is full (about 45 minutes). We had a top floor room the 1st time and a bottom floor room the 2nd time. Bottom floor seems to be a bit noisier, but both rooms were super nice. Wifi is free in the galeria. There is a library, couches, a bar, card tables and a pool table in there too. The AC in the rooms works wonderfully, which was important to me. Both times we were there, there was someone doing some improvements to the property (painting, cleaning, new roof, tree trimming, etc). Beautiful beach view. Super nice pool with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. 4 individual hot tubs by the pool (only 1 was hot while we were there, but they were working on getting the other ones hot too). The cold towel and the chair massage at check in are a really nice bonus too.
Cons: Wifi and beach access would be possible if the dock area was cleaned up some.
