We loved everything about Dreams Tulum. Great all inclusive resort experience. Only wish we had a few more days there to enjoy the resort's spa and to be able to do some of the great tours that are available around the area, easily accessible from the resort. Restaurants had outstanding food quality and service. We really enjoyed all of our dining experiences. Lots of lunch options which i found great as most places tend not to cater a great deal for lunch. Super lovely, friendly and attentive staff. The rooms were clean and luxurious... we never wanted to leave. Highly recommend this resort and can't wait to go back!!!

"Private Oasis on the Mayan Riviera"
We just returned from a week at Jashita and couldn't recommend the hotel more. It's truly a special place perched at the end of Solomon Bay, just a short jaunt away from the great restaurants, hotels, and nightlife of the Tulum puebla and beach. But most importantly, with all that Jashita has to offer, why leave? The service across the board is some of the best I've received anywhere being a frequent traveler for both work and pleasure. We had many great meals at the restaurant and enjoyed a tour from Jessica arranged through the hotel of two local cenotes that is an absolute must for anyone new to the area. Laura and team also always were able to quickly arrange transportation to tour the local Mayan ruins in Tulum, or head to the beach or town for dinner if we wanted. We are already planning our own trip back bringing friends, and recommending others as well.

"Better than expected"
Wasn't sure what this hotel would be like, but the location was good and it was on the beach. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel and the rooms. Our room overlooked the water and had a small balcony, it was large, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was a great option for breakfast. We didn't eat other meals there but there were always other people from the hotel or in the area who would come by. The best thing about this hotel is that it's right on the beach, meaning you can walk out of your room and within a few seconds be lounging under an umbrella by the waves. The staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending other places in the area. The other advantage of the hotel is the location. There are other hotels and restaurants nearby on the beach and across the road and you're in a 5 - 10 minute drive of the ruins and the town. Would definitely recommend to others and come back on my next visit.

"A Slice of Paradise "
My experience was lovely...tranquil, natural beauty, no loud music blasting, pristine beach, a super kind staff...all good. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. I would not recommended eating dinner there (Ziggy's) because the portions are tiny and the prices are high. To get downtown a taxi is needed...no worries, you can catch one within minutes. There are lots of restaurants (downtown); but, El Carmello's is off the hook ( no pun intended)!! The seafood is ridiculously fresh and abundant. Portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. This is the place to go if you are seeking harmony with nature and pure relaxation. I shall return.

"A nice apartment complex near the edge of Tulum"
A 60-90 minute drive from CUN airport (depending on traffic), the place hard to find (neither the cab driver nor any locals knew the location by name, and the location is new enough that there are not street addresses). In the management's defense, they had sent us a nice diagram of where exactly the complex was located, but we underestimated how difficult it would be to find. We spent one night in our original room, but after discovering that the AC was not working, we were moved into another unit that had a working AC. Luckily, that unit was also a bit nicer, and we were very pleased with the relocation. We rented a very nice pair of bikes from the management for a very reasonable price, and due to them not being available on day 1, we were given the first few days free as well. Tulum's main drag was about 5 minutes away on bike, and the beach was approximately a 30 minute bike ride from our apartment (all on either quiet streets or the bike path). We would definitely recommend bikes, as the apartments are a little far for walking. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, although honestly the apartment was a bit big for our needs. There was another group of 2-3 couples that was also staying there at the same time, and that seemed like the ideal use of the space: plenty of room in the apartments, and lots of room and facilities for group activities.

"Lovely friendly hotel across road from beach"
Blain and Brandy claim their hotel is 'safe and clean' - but it is so much more. I recently took my boys for a week to Tulum and stayed at Tunich. We felt so welcomed there by both the owners and staff. The room was small and comfortable, and indeed safe and clean. There was a hammock in the room for lounging, mosquito nets on the beds. I felt very safe for my boys to venture into the cafe by themselves (they are 6 and 8), and even to cross the road to purchase a bottle of water. Brandy and Blain made themselves very available to ask questions about the area, local sites to visit and anything else we could conjure up! Also, when my son got a horrible sunburn (yes, we did put sunblock on! Beware the sun in Tulum!) Brandy, Blain and the staff went out of their way to help us with my son's comfort, without us even asking. We felt like we were at home. Brandy and Blain are new owners of this hotel and they have put so much work into it! It will only get better and better! I would definitely come again! Oh!! And the breakfasts are fabulous - AND they have an espresso machine that makes fabulous coffee!!!!! Also, Ruben is a taxi driver that is frequently asked to do day trips for guests at Tulum - he is reliable, trustworthy, very knowledgable and such a kind man. He is a 'certified touristic' taxi driver - highly recommended!
