"Wonderful perfect beachside lodgings"
I stayed here a week with my daughter and her 19 month old baby, meeting friends with their 3 grandchildren. What a wonderful location, and low key atmosphere...tables set up inside and outside for dining, with beautiful white coral sand for the floor. ... the hotel's onsite beach was only a two minute walk from our rooms....here we found both sun and shade under palm trees, sometimes staying for the whole day there ordering tacos or guacamole and chips from the beachside mini-restaurant. The beach offered perfect conditions for skim-boarding, as well as bigger waves. Not a glitzy "all inclusive" type resort, just a beautifully kept casual place. One person in our party of 9 had to do some work, so the access to wifi for multiple users in the lobby at a large table was perfect. As for rooms, there were little thatch covered cottages/rooms but because we wanted private baths, we stayed in a 10-room two story building. A big plus: no mosquitos or crawly bugs anywhere!! The staff was so cordial and welcoming, the rooms immaculately maintained with fresh linens and towels. I plan to come back with more of my children and grandchildren.

"Nice hotel, lovely pool and meal area"
The room was stylish and clean with a comfortable bed and good amenities, including a refrigerator. The pool and eating area was central to the hotel buildings, and many people spent all day there relaxing or entertaining themselves. However the best part of my visit was the staff, which was courteous and enormously helpful. They arranged for car rentals (at a slightly better rate), trips, and delivery food. They also gave information about bus service, good restaurants, and local activities.

"Plams Tulum luxury hitel"
The hotel has excellent staff and is situated close (5-10 taxi ride) to everything. I would give it 5 stars but the bed was uncomfortable- too hard. I would suggest more padding. Otherwise, clean, comfortable and worth every penny.

"Great boutique hotel in Tulum Pueblo"
This hotel was in town. This has some pros and cons. We were never far from good food along the main highway and were close to the bus station and meeting place for excursions from Mexico Kan Tours. There was a lot of noise (especially on the weekend) from the street. You probably wouldn't notice with the door shut and AC running. We were able to walk to the Tulum ruins and to the beaches/beach restaurants pretty easily. Most people, however, took a bike. The hotel was super cute! Everything about it was very inviting. I loved how small it was. The breakfast area was charming and had a homey feel to it. I loved to sit on my balcony in the mornings to drink coffee and to listen to the birds. The staff was excellent! Someone was always at the desk and greeted us whenever we came in. On the last day, we had some issues with our transportation back to the airport. The woman at the desk got on the phone and sorted it all out for us. We were impressed with her kindness and desire to help without even being asked.

We enjoyed our stay .. liked being close to downtown but two blocks off the main drag .. lots of stairs , lots of unique plantings and decorations ... hot water a little iffy .

"Nice hotel, super friendly staff, and well located"
It's my first time in Tulum, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but certainly Kore Tulum exceeded my expectations. From the beginning until the end of our stay the staff did the utmost to make a pleasant time. The only thing to be aware is you need to pay for getting wifi access, is like 22 CAD per day

"Very pleasant hotel in a great location"
This hotel is spacious, clean, and located within walking distance of all of downtown Tulum. If you want the beach, then you should stay at one of the beachside resorts, which are not within walking distance of downtown Tulum. However, Tulum is a great town just on the outskirts of the touristy area originating in Cancun and extending south. At Tulum, you will find an abundance of small shops, authentic local restaurants, and a small town atmosphere, but with tourist restaurants and bars if you want them. The staff at the hotel are all very pleasant. We stayed at this hotel twice now, and we will stay there when we visit Tulum next time.

"Very nice but not worth the price"
I stayed in an "ocean view room" in this hotel *room 15). It had a nice balcony with ocean view but partially obstructed with the roof tops in front of it. The hotel is ocean front but it is not a rock beach not sand like most other places in Tulum.. It is also little bit too far North of the restaurants cafes and tiki-bars. You need to drive or take a taxi. I wouldn't recommend walking or biking at night because the road is very narrow and part of it is completely dark inside the national park (I mean pitch black). So it gets 4 stars and not worth the money..

"Paradise !"
I do not typically give any hotel that I have stayed at a perfect score as there are always imperfections. However after having spent a week at PE I can only say that it is the perfect place to stay in Tulum. The hotel is located in a great spot and has a beautiful private beach where we enjoyed our daily swim both morning and afternoon. The rooms are comfortable and very relaxing. All rooms have stunning views of the ocean and the beautifully situated palm trees in front. The people are wonderful. Nayeli at the front desk was so helpful and friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The women who prepared our rooms were also very friendly and helpful and added a special touch to the room that made our children happy (towel designs). Martine who I believe is the manager of the restaurant was great and made sure we were taken care of. The rest if the restaurant and bar staff were all so friendly and attentive to us. we very much enjoyed happy hour every day in the beach and we ate at the restaurant for lunch and dinner several times. The food is wonderful and we had one of our best meals there. I think the chocolate soufflé for dessert is the best I have ever had. Breakfast options are plentiful and I always appreciate fresh juice. The team at PE makes all the difference and I have to say that I really enjoyed spending time at the hotel. Although we did quite a lot in Tulum I kept wanting to go back to PE to relax. Thank you thank you thank you !
