Cute small hotel. Located in a great spot by popular bars and restaurants. The hotel will get you into a few beach clubs for free which was nice. The staff was beyond amazing! They very attentive, helpful, resourceful, and speak great English. They made my stay very easy. The hotel and area is very safe. My only con is the hotel was under construction and isn't as nice as the hotels in the surrounding area. But you get what you pay for. Good deal for the price. I would recommend for the budget traveler that has a taste for the finer things.
Other reviews are correct- it is way too loud to get any rest during the day. Blaring music from noon to 7:00 PM. The property should be much cheaper due to this but still charges high rates as if this wasn’t a serious issue. Also their beach front is a JOKE, but they do offer free entry to multiple beach clubs which somewhat makes up for this.
I will say the staff is phenomenal though.
Rodrigo was absolutely AMAZING. Extremely helpful in all aspects. The rooms were very clean and eco chic. Do not recommend if you are looking for a quiet stay, it is loud at all hours due to the prime location. Otherwise very happy with this hotel.
We loved the staff and the room at Casa Ganesh. It was a good location and room was nice, confortable and clean. Linens and towels were great as well as the mattress but the pillows where hard as rocks and big as a carry-on bags. A/C was perfect.
Construction noise early in the morning on weekdays was awful though I understand this problem is the same everywhere in Tulum.
Another item that is important to note is that this hotel doesn't have a restaurant which to me is somewhat uncomfortable specially in the mornings for breakfast. Staff was wonderful.
