"Excellent hotel and restaurant, highly recommend"
This hotel and restaurant has excellent styling. Each room has a unique character (I got to check out my coworker's room too, we were really impressed), with high design touches everywhere. The rooms are very quiet, stocked with great toiletries, linens and towels. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the turn down service really made you feel welcome when you get back to the room in the evening with the radio on in the background and the lighting set just right. The restaurant downstairs is great, not only does the staff have the same great service but has a crew of chefs that provide some amazing food at prices I would have expected to have been twice what they actually were. I had dinner there once and breakfast twice, every time the food was top notch. Complimentary internet service was fast and reliable not like a lot of hotels I stay in. The only downside to the hotel is that there isn't an elevator to get to the floors upstairs. If you're on the top floor like I was, it can be a hike, but so worth it when you see your room. I really like this hotel and if I'm staying in the Victoria area of London again I would book it in a heartbeat.
"Comfortable clean hotel. And close to EVERYTHING "
Very pleased with our stay. Room was everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The complimentary cookie on arrival was the perfect extra!
Overall pleased with our stay.
We loved the hotel. The location is amazing. The staff, especially the concierges, were extremely helpful always. The hotel is lovely. We were able to walk to two theatre shows, to our Buckingham Palace tour, and to Westmonster Abbey and even Trafalgar Square. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel.
Home to some of London's most famous institutions —the Houses of Parliament (Big Ben), Westminster Abbey, and Tate Britain— Westminster is busy by day and quiet by night. Buckingham Palace is located across lovely St. James's Park; Whitehall leads to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, passing 10 Downing Street and the Queen's mounted troops at Horse Guards on the way. The streets around Victoria Station offer hotels to suit all budgets.
