"Nice hotel but"
This is a nice hotel but I would not rated it a 5 stars as shown on Expedia site. More like a 4, 4,5 at best. The bathroom shower door can be better. If you use the handheld showerhead, it's guaranteed that water will be everywhere. Our room on 7th floor also had a water leak from the airconditioning unit. Also, try to book room that includes breakfast. Otherwise, good luck looking for breakfast before 9am unless you want to eat at the hotel restaurant.

"Beautiful hotel in a great spot for a short stay"
Hubby and I only stayed here overnight but in a way I wish it had been longer! On our way home after our 4 week Baltic Tour we had booked, online, this gorgeous old, newly refurbished hotel in a quiet street within easy walking distance to the city centre shopping areas and the underground railway . A few complaints: 1)The over zealous and pushy reception woman suggesting we upgrade to a much nicer and bigger room at a cost of 24 pound and the immediate need to know if we would like to add breakfast at 18 pound each to our account. Hang on please, we had just arrived from a five hour flight and were waiting for the slow moving concierge to help get our bags up the stairs- enough with the pushy questions! Let us take a breath! 2)The size of the room - like a lot of London hotels it was on the very small side with just enough room to get around the bed. Plus the fact that there was No luggage storage area and a very small wardrobe. Must admit that Breakfast was super good but still quite pricey! Overall mixed feelings!

"Lovely quiet hotel in the centre of London"
I love staying at this hotel. If they had rooms available I would stay here everytime I come down. Unfortunately because it's so nice they're often booked up. The decor is immaculate, very clean and modern but what makes this hotel special is its attention to helping you get a good nights sleep, which is essential if you've come to London to work. Good insulation between rooms, heavy curtains to keep out the light and good windows to keep out the traffic noise.

"Nice hotel, great location "
The location of the hotel was fantastic - walking distance to major attractions, alternate transport and cafes/restaurants. The staff were efficient and able to assist us with enquires very quickly the only point I would make is that when you arrive late and tired do not order room service the food was average and so was breakfast.

"Nice hotel, very accessible to public transport."
Hotel is good, good location, room was clean and tidy. Downside lack of air conditioning which effected room comfort, although a cooling fan was provided. Very close to public transport with easy access toTaxi rank, and underground tube station.
