"The Mondrian was simply wonderful. Excellent !!!!"
Stayed at the Mondrian twice within a two week period and would not hesitate to stay again. In fact, it would be a huge disappointment if it was full up during our next trip. The location is great as well. 10 min walk to either Blackfriars or Waterloo tube station. The big surprise was the activity outside the hotel along the Thames. Fun, great , youthful atmosphere. Really enjoyed the excitement. The hotel itself was warm, trendy and beautifully done. Most of all the staff was young and knowledgeable and very eager to please. In fact, upon our check out one of the staff ran up the street to flag a taxi to expedite getting back to Paddington to catch the Heathrow Express. I cannot express how much I enjoyed the Mondrian London Sea Containers. Cam the concierge is the best!!

Pleasant but disappointing due to lack of communication between the hotel and booking agent (Expedia). Our booking included breakfast, however it is embarrassing being asked twice to pay for something that is part of our package. I had to use the hotel computer to print off my itinerary to confirm the package we had.
The room was very clean and spacious however we had requested two double beds which we did not get. This was a great disappointment for my daughter who ended up on a fold up bed. It did sadly spoil what was an enjoyable few days in London.
The hotel was in an awesome are of the city. Very close to the river and major site seeing attractions
The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very efficient and friendly
Breakfast at the hotel was also well presented and had a variety of options

I had no idea where to stay in London on a recent visit and after what felt like hours of looking at hotels booked this one. I'm so pleased I did. We arrived very early knowing we would not be allowed to check in but we were quickly assisted and able to drop our bags of so we were able to explore. The only thing that I did not like about the hotel was the fact that there was no traditional reception, making a bit confusing where you should go when you were checking in and a bit confusing who were and weren't members of staff. We also weren't asked if we would like to leave a swipe of a credit card when we checked in so we were unable to charge anything to the room. The staff were extremely helpful and were there in seconds one morning when we were puzzling over the underground map to point us in the right direction. The room was lovely, clean, well equipped. The room was spacious but the bathroom a little cramped and the shower only seemed to have two settings hot and scalding but we coped. We had upgraded to a premium room so had slippers, robes, newspapers, a coffee machine and a mini bar. The only thing I would say with the mini bar was that there was only one of every item in it - not helpful when there are two of you staying in a room. The air conditioning was a little bit noisy but the bed was huge and very comfortable. The location was amazing, making many iconic sights in London walkable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
Good location directly opposite Tate Britain, but the hotel is tired in places - carpets need cleaning, the decor is looking dated and the hotel feels overshadowed by the 2 more modern Park Plaza hotels within 5 minutes walk. Staff are receptive and keen to help.
"Affordable with Fancy Feel, in the Hub of London"
My friends & I booked our first trip to London and we decided the Park Plaza looked like the place to be. We were right. The staff are very helpful and kind. There's a small cafe on the first floor, which serves the most delicious bagels and donuts. The beds in our room (even the couch bed) were extremely comfortable; it was always a pleasure to come back to comfy beds after long days of exploring. The TVs in the room had a decent selection of channels and movies to rent. The bathtub was extraordinary; very spacious & comfortable. The shower was a little underwhelming (terrible water pressure). We loved our mini fridge (albeit a bit small), drawer of silverware, and shelf of glasses/plates. It truly felt like a little apartment with plenty of room for 3 people. The spa is probably what we loved most. The pool is not only excellent, but it's beautiful. The gym is quaint but excellent, with everything you'd need for a great workout (open 24 hours!). The sauna and steam room are an absolute dream. And it's in a prime location. We'd walk down the hallway and see Big Ben right out the window. It's located at the end of Westminster Bridge, and a simple walk across gets you to the Underground, Big Ben, the Parliament Building, & Westminster Abbey. Might I also suggest taking a right when walking out the front of the hotel. Keep walking on the left side of the sidewalk until you're in front of Nandos. Best chicken I've ever had. We ate there for dinner two nights in a row.
