Pleasant but disappointing due to lack of communication between the hotel and booking agent (Expedia). Our booking included breakfast, however it is embarrassing being asked twice to pay for something that is part of our package. I had to use the hotel computer to print off my itinerary to confirm the package we had.
The room was very clean and spacious however we had requested two double beds which we did not get. This was a great disappointment for my daughter who ended up on a fold up bed. It did sadly spoil what was an enjoyable few days in London.
Great Hotel and is in a great place for the theatre and train station , My only criticism would be that the Sky bar shuts at 11 pm and the outside terrace witch is part of the sky bar witch looks fantastic ( but we couldn't go out ) shuts at 9 pm !!!! not great if you come back from a night out and want a drink with a nice view . Not sure of the reason for this but think they are missing out on a lot of revenue as that I would say is the SKY BAR not the one inside !!!!!
"The Mondrian was simply wonderful. Excellent !!!!"
Stayed at the Mondrian twice within a two week period and would not hesitate to stay again. In fact, it would be a huge disappointment if it was full up during our next trip. The location is great as well. 10 min walk to either Blackfriars or Waterloo tube station. The big surprise was the activity outside the hotel along the Thames. Fun, great , youthful atmosphere. Really enjoyed the excitement. The hotel itself was warm, trendy and beautifully done. Most of all the staff was young and knowledgeable and very eager to please. In fact, upon our check out one of the staff ran up the street to flag a taxi to expedite getting back to Paddington to catch the Heathrow Express. I cannot express how much I enjoyed the Mondrian London Sea Containers. Cam the concierge is the best!!

Good hotel, well located on the Embankment. Easy walking distance to Kennington Oval. Currently undergoing renovations, however, we experienced nil inconvenience or noise. Good size room. Modern bathroom. Very quiet.
My husband and I had an overnight stay here. We chose to stay in Waterloo as we were visiting the London Eye, London dungeons and general sight seeing throughout the day.
The location was perfect and within easy walking distance of all the attractions for us in the day time.
We saw a show in Leicester Square in the evening and again location was great as the tube station was so close to the hotel giving us easy access to the line we needed for our tube trip in the evening.
Breakfast in the morning was lovely, very well laid out, a good variation for all tastes.
Room was lovely and clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very modern.
We would definitely stay here again if visiting this part of London.
