"Nice hotel close to Cutty Sark and Greenwich park."
Friendly staff and a reasonable price for tha location. Lots of places to visit including Cutty Sark, Greenwhich Park, Royal Observatory.
Recommend getting the river boats into Central London and eating in the Sticks 'N' Sushi Restuarant on Nelson Road near hotel.

I was delighted to find this oasis in the city as I was attending a conference at a nearby hospital, I needed secure parking and you can park here behind electric security gates all day for free even if you have only stayed overnight, so I left my car at the hotel in the morning & collected it after the conference. Reception couldn't have been more helpful. It's not in the best location but it isn't far from the city, only a short taxi ride & reception will happily call a taxi for you. The man who drove for me was polite & helpful & didn't try to overcharge which the return taxi booked at the hospital did, trying to charge twice the cost of the outward journey! I objected firmly & he then agreed to accept the same amount. So if you're a woman travelling alone don't be taken advantage of by unscrupulous taxi drivers in London! I should have also booked my return taxi via the hotel too.
The accommodation was compact, the double bed was quite small. However, the room was very clean. The en-suite shower door wouldn't close without lifting it on it's hinges not a major issue but could be for anyone not strong enough to do this. The room was overlooking the garden courtyard so it was very quiet. The breakfast was basic and a little on the bland side, two cold meats, one type of cheese, bread, croissants, fruit, 3 cereals, fruit juice, tea & coffee. Having said this it was included in the cost & in pleasant surroundings.
London’s 21st-century waterside business district, Canary Wharf is best known for its cutting-edge architecture, including the 50-storey obelisk-shaped skyscraper, One Canada Square. Get there by the Docklands Light Railway, with elevated tracks giving wonderful views into a world of glass and steel. By contrast, historic Greenwich, home to the National Maritime Museum, is just across the Thames. A foot tunnel links the two.
