Disappointing, no advanced notice that all facilities are closed including bar, restaurant, spa etc. No housekeeping, very few rooms occupied and no hot water for a morning shower. 5 star prices for 1 star product. No apology, compensation or refund from the Management or Hotels.com
Only one towel in the room on arrival, no dressing gowns despite repeated requests, housekeeping on special request only and all usual expectations of a 5 star hotel missing.
I appreciate these are difficult times but it is important that information is provided to guests ahead of their stay. There was plenty of opportunity as the booking was made months before COVID-19. Poor communication and poor management.
Plenty of bars restaurants and other establishments were still operating in the area and the Government had not forced the hotel to close its facilities or reduce its services.
