The George Hotel
3.5 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (272)
"The location was great if you are going to use the bus service to Hadrian’s Wall as you can take it to a stop and walk back to the hotel. "I booked last minute for a cycle event in the area, the directions were easy to follow, if you screenshot them as advised, phone signal is poor to non existent (bliss) The Meadow View Hut is clean cozy and well appointed, the fire burns very warm so one of the provided logs at a time. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle of the fire, the heating is plenty on its own. Falstone is a great staging post for Kielder Forest, and there’s plenty of adventurous things to do near by, endless walks...
