Room was immaculate and refurbished recently by the looks of it. Good breakfast choices in the cafe downstairs and the staff are very helpful. Only thing was that the B&B had no notification from Expedia that the stay had been prepaid and so they went to take payment from me. I was able to show them an email from Expedia to show it was paid. They took a photo of it and that was that. Not their fault.

In the heart of northuberland dark skies area stars every where accomodation fantastic Helen and the staff superb. Very nice breakfasts would book again Ann and George

We had a very pleasant surprise with the property,doesn’t look great from the outside but superb rooms, a very nice kitchen available to use and the rooms were fantastic.The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful, we will Definitely be back.

Could fault nothing. Excellent from first arrival(just to drop luggage off prior to check in to actual departure). Love hotel, Staff, accomadation, everything. Cant wait o go back.

Fabulous 4 day stay here . Lovely location , rooms very clean and comfortable. Ate all our meals here and every one was excellent. Breakfasts were great , plenty of choice . All the staff were so friendly and helpful . Special thanks to Marcelle and Jackie who couldn’t have done more ! We will definitely return

A characterful village inn hotel, recently refurbished by the owners. Very friendly, relaxed welcome and service from Kayleigh & Marcus and all their staff. Room had a lovely view through the village and towards the hillside. Well appointed and very tastefully decorated ensuite room too. The bar itself is busy with a good selection and found everyone to be very friendly both in the bar and in general around the village, no-one passes you without saying "good morning". In short, very enjoyable...

Fantastic location room and staff

Great stay excellent host very helpful. Lovely breakfast and great location right on the Hadrian’s wall trail 5 minutes walk away. Peaceful quiet location on a working farm.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Large room all the facilities were first class, free use of sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, etc which made the stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning 👍

Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again.

Presentable room all good and pleasant friendly staff.

What a perfect place to stay. We stayed in one of the two bedroom cottages which was perfect. I could not say a negative thing about the cottage. We only stayed for 2 nights while visiting near bye family. But we will be back for a proper break

Great experience

I arrived late after a long and tiring walk and was very pleasantly surprised to find that I had been upgraded to a double room. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had plenty of top branded toiletries to use. Plenty of tea and coffee also. There was no internet access in the room (No.18) because of its distance from the router but this was freely available in the lounges so not a problem. There was a supply of daily newspapers to peruse in the lounge and a very adequate supply of comfy armchairs...

Clean and quiet property. Well-priced and a fifteen minute walk from the city centre. Friendly staff.

Very well equipped little apartment, kindly supplied a pint of milk and a few teabags & coffee. I was however surprised that there was no shower gel in the bathroom. Very comfortable though, and the adjacent pub was lovely with good food and beer.

Wonderful place to stay, quiet and it had everything we wanted, home from home and so many local walks, and dog friendly too.

This is a nice central location in Morpeth with improving facilities and accommodation. I stayed in a room yet to receive the upgrade work - nonetheless the room was clean and comfortable.
