I found the Grand very good. Excellent COVID precautions both in my bedroom and public areas. Staff very friendly and helpful. My only issue was with Expedia who did not action my cancellation instructions. That was completely unsatisfactory.

Very dated hotel - could benefit from refurb. Following covid rules well. Not worth paying extra for the breakfast during covid days. The staff in the morning were not that great and bit rude but when I checked in late as was travelling from south, the gentleman who checked us in was really nice and helpful.

Issue not resolved by Expedia and as such got different room from that booked. Other than that check in ok, but stay at hotel terrible. No hotel staff picking up phone, no night security and room on corridor banging all night with people coming and going every twenty minutes through the night.
