"This hotel was in a beautiful location with stunning grounds (which needed a bit of maintenance). the bar, reception, restaurant & seating areas within the main hotel were beautifully updated but I stayed in a room out the back in a separate wing and my patio door was broken and could not be locked so i had about 1/2 hours sleep - worrying about someone coming into my room. This whole block needs serious renovation. All in all though the room - even though it needed a complete update, the bed was comfortable and the linen on the bedding was lovely. Lovely meal in the restaurant & the breakfast was delicious"

"I arrived at the hotel around 10pm ahead of an early flight the next morning, and the experience was disappointing from the start. No restaurants were serving food at that time, leaving room service as the only option. When I got to the room, the bed hadn’t been made properly for arrival, and the mattress was so worn I could feel the springs through it. This stay was nowhere near the standard I’ve experienced at other Hilton locations, especially surprising for an airport hotel where comfort and convenience matter most. In all honesty, I’ve had far more comfortable rooms at budget hotels."

"Quiet location. Bar was big but full of TVs with football on all the time. Staff generally friendly. Good airport hotel. Nothing really in walking distance but hotel has everything you need"

"The reception staff are great. The location being in Gatwick is terrific of course, convenient for the airport and trains. The amenities are clean and comfortable however dinner service let the hotel down. No shortage of staff it seemed but totally disorganised the night we were there. Guests were asking for menus, following up on drinks, food and dinners. My husband finally received a dessert he was waiting for only to have another brought to the room long after we left the dining room. It seemed like disorganised chaos. The hotel if they rectify training and ensure some procedures in place in the dining room will nail it."

"We had a great stay, food is basically as are the rooms, we were upgraded to executive but nothing executive about it compared to others. Staff were great"

"For a Ramada expected better, dirty room, shower blocked with hair. Sink blocked, bathroom not clean... not a good experience."
