This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. Lovely hotel close to Westfield and its shops and transport. Excellent for trains to the O2 for a gig. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfy and the breakfast was excellent We would definitely stay again

The hotel was well sited for us and the indoor car park next door was very bright, safe and clean. The rooms were clean, quiet and child-friendly. We even invited our family to dine with us there. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Nice location and nice room. Really good staff and service and room very comfortable. Everything is well organised. If I have to be critical, there was no free wi-fi and £12 for 24 hours seemed a bit steep. I was only there for a single night but longer stays would be either without wi-fi or quite expensive for access

From the minute we stepped through the main entrance to the moment we reluctantly checked out our experience was one of sheer joy. The staff were so welcoming and professional . The hotel superbly appointed. The service impeccable. Firmdale know their business and give the client a memorable and thoroughly supreme experience.

The decor of pub is stunning and the staff very attentive,also the breakfast very good and plenty choices. Cross the road is woods with footpaths where i had a good walk is also a garden centre near by where i found beautiful gifts.exellent weekend trip for me.❤

If you want a place for quiet, have a light meal and a good nights sleep, then this is it. But if you want space to spread out or to do some work, not so good. It’s an ideal stop prior to an early morning flight.

Hotel was really nice, me and my girlfriend wanted a chilled night one night and used the spa which was great and had the best room service
