I was working locally so stayed in this hotel. It was really clean and the staff was lovely. I had a room looking out to the lakes so great views. I ate at the hotel one of the nights and the food was OK.

The property is very tired and needs updating. The bedding and bathroom facilities were poor, main light didn’t work, the bath panel was hanging off. The bedding was threadbare and stained. The staff were pleasant and the setting was very nice.

Our stay at The Inn on the Lake was fine, everywhere seemed clean, the breakfast was nice, and the service was good. In terms of letting them know what they could do better, I’d say stop using Expedia to take bookings. We booked through Expedia paying extra for a lake view room, but on arrival were told that Expedia hadn’t passed that request on, so we only got a car park / motorway view room. We paid £88 for our room, whereas friends who stayed at the same time booked direct to Inn on the Lake and paid £62, so we paid £26 more for a similar room because we made the mistake of using Expedia instead of booking direct!

Very Comfortable

Very Comfortable room although the bathroom needed a bit of attention. The food was good and reasonably priced. Very enjoyable two night stay.

This was a cute very old hotel. The view from the lake view room was gorgeous, breakfast was sit down with a small continental buffet and a choice to order hot food. We didn’t have a car so needed to Uber to town and restaurants. Could hear neighbours beside and across the hall. I’m sure they hear us too. Had to ask for towels the second night and still crisps I dropped on carpet near bed. The next day there water works been done and water shut off. If the price is right, it’s a quiet and beautiful view getaway. May stay again if driving through.

this was the worst. the property needs a complete make over with no running cold water, kelp my shoes on in and out of the room and the smell on every floor is unbearable. The photos online is not what you see when you arrive Stay at your own risk!!!!
