I had such a pleasant stay, we even got a room upgrade because our AC didn't work, however upon leaving I saw two charges on my card. Called the hotel "This second charge is normal practice as you booked through Expedia, it won't actually be debited but it will stop showing as pending on your account within a couple days". Two days later they debited BOTH charges. Expedia tell me it was a accidental second charge but despite times not being easy for everyone, I have to wait up to 7 working days, despite me notifying them of this charge they only logged a refund 4 days later. I'm very unsatisfied with both the hotel and Expedia at this point.
