"We were treated like second class citizens because we booked through Expedia, They didn't even have a room for us when we arrived . It was supposed to be all inclusive and we were told we had to purchase lunch and dinner because we didn't book direct. The manager , who arranges all of the fly fishing ..."
"We stayed here to escape a hurricane with the kids. There is not official parking you need to park on the street. Staff were friendly and help full. We had to ask for a sheet that was missing and also towels. Room is small and basic and branded OYO. The shower didn't have very hot water so that was ..."
Wonderful getaway to a magical jungle house on the Caribbean
"This was a beautiful house and property with its own beach. We saw turtles swimming through the waves from the private white sand beach. The tide was super mellow and you can walk/ swim out very far. There is a great lagoon in the back where we took the kayaks (provided) in the shallow waters. We ..."
"While the drive was long and rough, the resort itself and our casita was lovely. Samuel was absolutely amazing in taking good care of us. The food was great. I wish there were more to do in the area, and we wish the beach and water were cleaner in order to swim and walk. Overall it was nice and secluded ..."
"Wonderful game experience. Alex and Gabby made the trip. The beach is amazing but the trash that comes in really sucks. This is no fault of owner but it really was shoo king. Our beach is cleaned by Alex. People thinking the Oilfiled is polluting the world maybe think about eating on the go with ..."
"Mukan resort was beyond words. I have never had a more wonderful experience in my whole life. The resort was incredibly well kept and serene, and the wait staff were top class. I can’t recommend Mukan more highly!!!"
"Both the location and the house were first rate. The staff was very friendly and extremely professional with a special mention for the house manager and the chef. Excellent experience for those seeking an isolated retreat in a special location just miles away from Tulum."
"The owner, Jesse, was incredibly proactive with sharing info ahead of time and responsive when the need arose. I really appreciated him!! As others have mentioned, the house caretakers Chucho and Chari are incredible. Highly recommend eating all meals at the house! The decor and layout of the house ..."

We saw big fish, some sort of small rays, herons, egrets and crabs. Eduardo helped us get a boat chartered into the ocean and lagoon (request Javier!!!)... where we got to see dolphins, turtles, manta rays, a manatee and so many birds including pink spoonbills. Joel was a great host and Eduardo was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend spending some time in Punta Allen. The road is very bumpy to get there, so give yourself time to slowly cruise along... and bring all the pesos you will need as they only take cash. It will be a vacation you won't forget."

"Your basic, cheap Mexican hotel. Outside the center of town, dogs bark at night, trucks rumble by, birds chirp loudly in the morning. The greens and yellows of Mexican rooms. Slow Wi-Fi, breakfast not available because chef didn’t show up. Beats sleeping in your car along the side of the road 307 at night."

"Wonderful game experience. Alex and Gabby made the trip. The beach is amazing but the trash that comes in really sucks. This is no fault of owner but it really was shoo king. Our beach is cleaned by Alex. People thinking the Oilfiled is polluting the world maybe think about eating on the go with all the trash. Alex took us fishing in the ocean, Bridge , and in the lagoon. It was a worth the drive on the roughest road I have been on. We will go back. They said they a renovating the house in February. It will be nice to go back and see the renovations."
