Riviera Maya Honeymoon Holidays

This is our second stay at excellence resort. First one was in Punta Cana, three weeks later we tried the one in Mexico. Our stay at this resort was absolutely exceptional. Every aspect exceeded our expectations, from the beautiful accommodations and outstanding service to the delicious food and beautiful surroundings. The staff made us feel truly welcome, and every detail was handled with care. We had a perfect vacation and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Mexico. Fernando Guevara the hotel manager, Benjamin the waiter from magma, Mauricio the chef, and EDWIN the waiter are the BEST.

I’ve been to lots of resorts before, but this one is a bit unique. The mascot is a penguin super cute the scented toilet paper 😂 they sprayed your bed and robe with a scented linen spray loved it! When leaving the room in the evening, they would come in and prepare your room for bed. I never had a bad meal. From the restaurant manager Augustin who greeted us every day knew us by name. All the sweet servers Jonathan, Victor, Lazaro attention to detail they made my mom’s birthday so memorable. Also the pool servers Gerard and Jose are so attentive I will miss every single one of them. Never went to the beach due to the storms, but overall the breathless views of the beach and resort 10/10. I joined there subscription so I can travel all there other resorts worldwide. But I can’t wait to revisit Devossion in playa never disappointed. Cheers!

Great property, amazing food, decent service.. after that downhill....We reserved the pool level suite, great room with amazing wildlife moving through it. Peaceful and serene! Bed on interior matched a sheet of plywood in comfort. A bike was used on property, when you could find one.. Property has amazing scenery, room service is an upcharge, couldnt find ice... oh well. Would stay here again for the food and scenery in same villa.. not for the service.

Everything was absolutely perfect from the time of check-in to the check-out. I recommend getting the diamond status because my butlers were absolutely amazing. My butler's name was Giorgiana and Rodriguez they made our stay even better. Also, I don't want to leave one of the bartenders at the pool out his name is Aaron and he was so a ball of fun. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax throughout the trip. The staff were outstanding. Everything about this resort was amazing except for the food. And it wasn’t just me. It was very bland or not hot enough or just gross. I will say the gelato was my favorite thing.!
