Otherwander Soho Pod Hotel (ADULTS ONLY)

Otherwander Soho Pod Hotel (ADULTS ONLY)

10/10 Excellent
"Great last 5 days in London…. The pods were awesome as were the facilities. Super clean and new. Easy in and out of the hotel as well. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but after a slightly claustrophobic night 1, I was sad to leave on the last day. Best sleep of my life. If I could give folks any advice, pack light and pick the lower level pods. I’m guessing it would’ve been easier to get in and out of the pod on the lower level as the pod doors open in…. not out. The air conditioning was primo on rather hot London summer days. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you to the staff!"

"Room was clean, staff has a tiny desk at entrance so if there are more than one party, you will have to wait. Air conditioning worked great. Only complaint is they clean your room on the fourth day of your stay, even if you leave the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We came back to it off and it didn't sit right with us that someone was in our room despite us indicating that we didn't need them to."

"Check in..total nightmare, absolutely no need to be entering ALL your personal details and home address again after booking online, this creates a huge queue and lots of frustration. Room needed a good hoover, lots of hairs including in the bed, food crumbs and dust. Sink smelt like sewage when the tap was running. Only decent thing about the stay was the air-conditioning, the silence and the 2 second check out. Not worth almost 200 quid a night...AT ALL."

The Z Hotel Tottenham Court Road

The Z Hotel Tottenham Court Road

8/10 Good
"This hotel is exceleently maintained, has a very helpful staff, and is well located for someone who wants to bounce among the museums, SOHO, and Chinatown. The rooms, while spotless, are on the small side, have very limited space for clothes, and lack the small safes that many travelers use to lock up their valuables. Since I stayed almost two weeks in London, I hung up some shirts and slacks on hangers and pegss behind the door; and otherwise, I lived out of my large suitcase. A breakfast buffet is free for people who book through their web site; otherwise, it can be purchased for around 15 pounds. I'd say that this place is ideal for someone who fit everything into carry-on luggage; if you checked your bag(s) through, you will need to adapt to the space limitations. The people, the units, and the location are wonderful."

"The boxes we slept in were really hot at night, they really need to help with the airflow cause I was running out of oxygen and couldn’t breathe even if the low flow ac running in the box.. had to crack the door at the bottom…but other than that, the stay was perfect!!! Loved my stay and will be back again and again!!!"
