Rose and Phillip were the percect hosts.

"Beautiful farmhouse set in a lovely village. Although the bed was a little firmer than we were used to we slept well. The room was spacious & clean with plenty of tea/coffee etc. Breakfast was lovely we opted for the lighter option of eggs on toast but the full English looked amazing. There is a car park for farmhouse guests at the back .Would recommend."
"A great place to stay whilst in the area. Kitchen and lounge downstairs with bedrooms upstairs..each with own very small shower toilet and sink. Lota if cupboard space.
Kitchen and lounge lovely and big with all you need....but bring your own tea or coffee as there is none here."
"The property has been developed to a good standard. Had to wait a very long time for simple item to be delivered to breakfast table. It was toast. The head of service was really good"
"The friendliest staff in a lovely country pub. The village is delightful with lots of historic buildings and nice shops. I would definitely stay here again as we were made to feel so welcome. "

"Great price, great service also had a good breakfast included all for a very good price.
Beds are super comfy, location is perfect for town centre, everything was just perfect."
"Lovely stay, would recommend for room comfort, climate control in every room is amazing. Staff very helpful and provide a rubber bath mat on request. Food menu very varied. Great stopover. We stayed en route to the north and back a week later. Totally recommended."
"We booked in on line so it was seamless when we arrived. The room was lovely- clean with lots of hangers and great shower and nice to have a fridge. A comfortable bed made for a great sleep. Only problem was the satnav apparently doesn’t direct you to hotel and it is quite tricky to get to. The people on the desk know about this and maybe this could be addressed "
"This fantastic hotel is a real gem, situated in the heart of lovely Shrewsbury and would make a great base for explorers enjoying all the local amenities. The Lion Hotel reflects the environment; quirky, an architectural gem filled with ancient and beautiful furniture pieces, an historic idiosyncrasy still resplendent in faded charm. Not for the fussy or fastidious traveller. This would be for Hogwarts lovers and those seeking individuality. Fabulous comfortable half-poster bed and luxurious bathroom with masses of piping hot water. No breakfast available, but super delicatessens within a minute's walk gets you up and out too! Very reasonable parking fee and dogs welcome. We will come back as often as we are able."
"Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent room. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Very impressed with this hotel and would definitely visit again. "
