"Another great stay with warm & comfy room, ensuite and with food provided in the cafe.
Just what we needed for a single night en route for Wales but with time to walk, explore and an evening in the recently flooded pub - good beer 'Butty Bach' & friendly locals! "
"Great stay in Ironbridge - easy parking across the river - Good food.
Old building so not soundproof rooms, but a great stay in a top location by the river"
"Excellent location two minutes walk from the Iron Bridge. The pub does excellent food also. Our room was clean, comfortable and overlooked the river. Absolutely stunning, would love to visit again!"

Lavender House
18th century renovated old school house in Ironbrige gorge
2/10 Terrible
"The cottage was unsafe and dirty. Broken garden chairs which were unsafe to sit on. Two bedrooms were interconnecting which wasn’t mentioned in the advert, there were no windows in the downstairs’ bedrooms. The hob in the kitchen didn’t work, the only kitchen knife was a bread knife, one of the dining chairs was broken, we had to wash cutlery, plates and glasses before using. There were nails and screws perturbing from various places. Mouse droppings on the bedroom floor, dirty bed linen in one of the wardrobes, and what looked like bed bugs in one of the beds. Floor tiles were cracked, kitchen cupboards were dirty inside. The property was advertised as two bathrooms, there was only one. Left a day early as it was so uncomfortable."
Beautifully Renovated Victoria Cottage in World Heritage Ironbridge, Shropshire
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely little cottage, amazingly convenient for the world heritage site just a short walk from the door. Close to various facilities. The cottage itself is well located and very comfortable. We had no problems and everything you could need appeared to be there, so well recommended."
"I don't know what to say other than I have sent my review to YHA with "top marks" for everything. From the friendly welcome received on check-in to the cleanliness of the room allocated, everything was absolutely perfect for the overnight stay. I slept very well & enjoyed the morning coffee in the café downstairs. It was all spot-on and excellent value for money. I will recommend to friends and I would like to book to stay there again. "
