The Municipal Hotel Liverpool - MGallery
10/10 Excellent
"Second stay at the Municipal, a great hotel in Liverpool. Pretty sure I'll be back. Only minor flaw was the towel rail in the bathroom which seemed to be constantly on."
"This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff were charming and helpful, and would go the extra mile for you without hesitation. You were never made to feel anything other than welcome. The room was clean as a whistle and even the inside of the kettle and coffee machine were sparkling. The bedlinen was crisp and white , and the bed was blissfully comfortable. When it came to the food it was all freshly cooked and prepared . Obviously the chefs were highly skilled. I enjoyed the best chargrilled sea bass I had tasted in addition to the most perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict at breakfast. Particularly caring and helpful were Chrissa and Ellie in the restaurant, and Billy and Pete the concierges. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I was very late to breakfast and my friend who is disabled was worried what had happened when she could not get me on the phone. They took the trouble to try the room phone, and when I didn't answer that straight away, despatched Billy and another member of staff to bang on the door in case I was ill, becuse my friend was so worried. They were very solicitous when I arrived in the nick of time to have breakfast, making sure that I was really all right. It was a real credit to them and the hotel. I would be happy to stay there again without a doubt"
