The St Davids Cathedral Festival is an annual festival of classical music that takes place over nine days in May and June, and delivers a varied programme of events within the cathedral itself as well as in Ty’r Pererin, the cathedral’s Education and Pilgrimage Centre, and nearby Llanrhian Church.
The Really Wild Food and Countryside Festival is held over a weekend in May, and features walks, foraging events, cooking demonstrations, pig races, a climbing wall, live music, clay pigeon shooting, archery and more, as well as hosting over 80 stalls offering wild food, wild drink and wild crafts.
Gwerin y Pererin, or the St David’s Folk Festival, is held on an evening in July in the grounds of the ruined Bishop’s Palace, and provides an exciting selection of Celtic music, whilst in July and August a number of theatrical productions are put on in St Davids, both open air at the Bishop’s Palace and indoors at the Mathry Community Hall.
