Lovely stay. Room was beautiful and staff were very welcoming. Arpit at the Spa was very helpful by giving us a tour on the first day and remembering that my son couldn’t swim and provided him with floats.

This place is only good, certainly not excellent, because its location is very good( easy access to Cardiff, Bute Park and stadiums), it is very clean and the breakfasts are excellent.
However, the room and the ensuite were disappointingly small,especially for the price! Also, with the exception of the lovely breakfast girls, there was little warmth in the welcome at the main reception desk.Certainly, the least welcoming place we have stayed in for a while!

It would be difficult to pick out one aspect of the Bear in Cowbridge as it was all very good. Staff were lovely, food excellent and very good value. We will definitely return!
