"This is an amazing place to stay. I would stay again for sure. Very nice beach and you can take the electric car to go to the ruins. The only thing to keep in mind is that getting in and out of the hotel requires ordering a taxi from the hotel since they don't let anyone in and out of the park where the hotel is located. "Our room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. We loved the pool and ocean access, and lounging on the beach. The staff at Casa Altamar were the best we met on our 2 week trip to Mexico. They were so kind, accommodating and thoughtful. Tulum is a unique destination, with different "zones," each with their own vibe. Casa Altamar is north of the town center and "party" beach area. That means you get a quiet and secluded beach (huge plus!) It is a 15min drive to town if you want to explore...

"Mindblown at the entire Xcaret property, hotel and parks. Was nervous about the cost but we left wishing we stayed longer. The hotel property is massive with so much to do and so many food choices. The room was clean and simple but with a wonderful view along with double hammocks and stoked snacks. Check in was simple and fast but do think something was missed along the way as we felt unprepared to tackle the enormous property with a lack of information at first from how to reserve restaurants to where the shuttles for the parks arrive. All reservation restaurants were also booked up for days in advance (our entire stay). However, none of the above was a deal breaker and we quickly got the flow with the interactive map on the app (very much needed) Overall highly recommend, just be prepared for a ton of walking and a slightly overwhelming amount of amenities and trying to find everything at first. "

"This resort was very impressive to stay at we stay for a total of five days and we had actually gotten a pretty good deal since they had just switched management and rebranded the resort. They have several restaurants, including a steakhouse ceviche restaurant pool service where you can order burgers, wings, Chinese restaurant and an Italian restaurant and they even have a small café. Everything we had was delicious there. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. during our stay, they actually included black label under the all-inclusive package, which was really nice. Since that is a premium drink. They had a taco stand by the pool. All the servers were very nice very welcoming and very courteous. My mom even got a little sick on the trip and they stated that they could send a doctor to the room for $300 which I think is good considering that they have that service so it tells you they care about the people staying at the resort. The room was very spotless. I am a huge fan of espresso and they had Nespresso pods in the room room service filled the fridge with beer and soda and chips and Oreos, which are my favorite so I was happy about that and room service comes pretty quickly. I noticed on a few days that housekeeping came twice and then one day. I think we missed them so if you just called to the lobby, they’ll just send them to your room, but overall everything was very clean. Food was delicious. Amazing service. "
