"This was much more remote than anticipated, but in a lovely way. Off the beaten path and far from the crowds and tourists is this gorgeous wonderland built into the jungle. "We loved this hotel! In fact, we loved it so much that we changed our plans and came back for a couple of days at the end of our trip. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. The pier on the lake was heavenly. The staff was so nice, too. The only drawback was the ice machine wasn't working, but on our second stay it appeared they had a replacement ready to install. "
