Top Italian Gardens Hotel Reviews

Lancaster Hall Hotel

Lancaster Hall Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent value for money and a very convenient location. That said, it’s not the quietest place. The doors inside transmit a lot of sound, so every time neighboring rooms opened their door, it sounded like it was my door . Having to keep the window open for airflow also meant hearing noise from people outside. A solid, budget-friendly option overall, just keep the noise level in mind when booking."

"Front desk their very best to accommodate our very early arrival. After a few room switches we settled in and started exploring. The room had a very comfortable bed. The fridge wasn’t very cold be good enough. You receive credit when you skip housekeeping but use the credit asap. We were hoping to use it for our early departure but the coffee shop was closed and we had to leave 40 pounds credit behind. Very disappointing"

Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington

Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington

8/10 Good
"I did not receive a pleasant welcome when I checked in! The receptionist started by Hello, checking in! The usual standard as far as I know is: Hello, how are you! Welcome to Copthorne Tara. Then she asked me to go to the next receptionist her colleague and I was just standing there, and her colleague was looking at her and me because he was not sure what was going on. Then she asked me to come back. It was nice of her to toss me back and forth. However it seems she was a bit under pressure but no matter what, guests should be greeted with courtesy. I work in the healthcare sector and attend to over a thousand patients and always have a smile on my face. Then on Saturday Morning, I was woken up with a loud banging noise from the 9th or 10th floor and it was pounding on my head. This noise went on for a while till I checked out. I would expect that if construction works were to be carried out then guests need to be informed ahead, but unfortunately this did not happen. I am quite frustrated and did not enjoy my stay. This is actually my 3rd or 4th visit to the hotel of which I did not have previous issues. But this last visit was not good."

"The hotel is situated really close to Lancaster gate and Paddington stations, lovely bakery round the corner and places to eat and drink. The hotel itself is tired but clean, perfect for bedding down for a night. The rooms are very hot but a fan is provided. Staff are helpful. There is a large ask for £50 PER PERSON for a deposit and you must have ID for each person staying, good job I remembered my passport!"

"Lovely bedroom which was larger than anticipated in central London. Separate shower as well as a bath was great. Room was very well maintained and spotless. Had a good afternoon tea in The Palm Court. All staff were approachable and helpful. Only slight drawback for us was a lack of a central place to sit and chill and get coffee or a snack during the day."
