The hotel certainly didn’t impress. The room (at least the one we were in) was very “tired”, carpets worn, chips out of the paint, shower head poll falling apart etc. To top it off, the internet went down for several hours during the evening. We booked this hotel due to its convenient location close to Paddington Station. That is the one positive. I certainly would look elsewhere if I were to need a similar location in London in the future.

Excellent location, across from Hyde Park. Rooms are small with few amenities, but the property is clean and well maintained. No refrigerators in rooms. Breakfast was wonderful with lovely buffet and menus ordered hot food.

Ottimo Hotel che consiglierei a chiunque vuole soggiornare a Londra. Dopo un piccolo disservizio legato alla stanza e comunque precisato in fase di check in la reception si è arrivata da subito a farci avere una camera adeguata e di livello superiore. Zona centralissima e fornita di qualunque servizio. Il personale della reception fantastico così come quello collocato nell’area breakfast. Colazione variegata che consiglio di usufruire durante il viaggio.

I was the only person to say hello and make eye contact upon checking in. The room was in good, not great, condition, with a few stains and scratches in various spots. It's a beautiful boutique hotel literally a 60 second walk to Hyde Park.. steps away from restaurants and pubs.. a 7 minute walk from Paddington Station. The breakfast was exceptional - service superior - the breakfast servers deserve a round of applause! The front desk and management staff were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond their call of duty. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again.

The hotel lobby was well presented, clean, and well maintained, creating a good first impression. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, and the breakfast offered a good range of options. The air conditioning worked well, and the TV was good quality. Unfortunately, the room was a huge disappointment. We booked a small double, but it was extremely cramped. The double bed was pushed up against the wall, meaning one person had to climb over the other to get in and out. There was also a cabinet at the bottom of the bed, making access even more awkward. I even hit my head on the wall trying to get out. The room itself was in poor condition, with marked walls and crumbling paint that made it feel tired and in need of refurbishment. Although the bathroom had everything you would expect, it was very small, and the toilet roll holder was positioned so awkwardly that it was difficult to reach. There were also steps throughout the hotel, which felt like a safety hazard, particularly when carrying luggage. The bed was incredibly hard, making for a very uncomfortable night’s sleep, and unfortunately we got very little rest. Overall, while the staff, breakfast, air conditioning, and TV were all positives, the poor room layout, uncomfortable bed, and lack of maintenance meant we would not choose to stay here again.

The room booked was a smaller double which was ok. It was slightly dated, the sink didn’t drain properly and took 5 minutes to drain. There was no hot water in the shower and hardly any water pressure. The aircon was amazing and worked well. There is currently (July 2026) extensive renovations on the property next door in which the workmen start hammering etc early finish late. Overall, the hotel is worth the price for where it is, the staff are very hospitable and pleasant just a few kinks to work out with the building.

Hotel itself was clean . Bedsheet was dirty . Kettle a drinks facilities in room , plug did not reach electrical socket . Had to move tray and. Kettle and sit on top of the bin to use it . Staff were polite but did not give me much information at check in . Had to ask where lift was, as told me took Number but not how to get there which direction as was two doorways . No info in room Re in case of fire instructions, meeting point or nearest stair case or evacuation route ,no info re .tv channels . Facilities at the hotel . For. Whilst the hotel itself was nice it lacked a hut of personal touches and staff not very forthcoming. Breakfast was good but room was way too hot as did not seem to have any ventilation or air conditioning.

Received a complimentary breakfast as we had waited 10 mins for a cup of tea at the bar. Hotel was very busy as Garth Brooks was on at Hyde Park. The breakfast was very nice. The room (20)was huge with a large bed. Great air con. Location great for Hyde park and plenty of little eating places near by. Close to 2 underground’s. We paid a lot for 1 night £260 but assumed it was because so many concerts this weekend. Take That and Harry Styles. Would stay again

La UNICA ventaja de este hotel es su UBICACIÓN, que resulta muy conveniente para recorrer Londres. Sin embargo, si encuentras otra opción por un precio similar, probablemente valga la pena considerarla! HAY UNA CONSTRUCCIÓN A LADO Mi experiencia con el servicio fue regular. El personal de recepción no siempre mostró una actitud orientada al cliente. En varias ocasiones estaban conversando entre ellos y parecía que atender solicitudes representaba una molestia, no eran amables con nosotros. Las habitaciones son extremadamente pequeñas, incluso para los estándares de Londres y tuvimos que pedir que las limpiaran, ya que estan alfombradas y parece que NO la limpian (hay arañas y pulgas) Otro aspecto a considerar es que la televisión contaba con una oferta muy limitada de canales y varios de ellos no tenían señal, por lo que las opciones de entretenimiento eran escasas. Lo único positivo fue el desayuno y el personal encargado de esta área fue siempre muy amable, atento y servicial. Además, la ubicación del hotel es excelente y sin duda es su única fortaleza.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean and well maintained. I liked the uniqueness of the property. The bathroom was very clean, however the shower door did not keep water from leaking on the floor. Also the tub was very deep and it was not the easiest to get out of for seniors. There is much to like about this hotel, primarily the location. But there are many things not to like. So many of the rooms were terribly small or very oddly laid out. We looked at four rooms before finding one that was OK. ( The staff was very accommodating in allowing us to check on many rooms). There is no place to put your clothes away. That this hotel is billed as 4 stars is quite misleading. The price did not match the value.
