Great hotel for staying with a young toddler because of kitchenette. Super facilities. Friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet vicinity. Room a bit warm at night. Some appliance noise during night.

"nice hotel in beautiful surroundings"
we have stayed at this hotel several times and always find it a very pleasant experience, although a little out side York the surrounding countryside means that it is very quiet. the staff are always very helpful and would recommend this hotel

"Convenient for sightseeing"
Although hotel was advertised with parking facilities, car had to be parked in public paying car park around the corner, soadd a further £10-£12 to your stay. When taken up to our room by the Receptionist, which was was very cold , it was not explained to us how the heating system worked. Finally I was horrified after using the bedside lamp through the evening, an electrical PAT label attached to it stating "do not use" and was dated February 2016!

"Pretty"
Nice entrance, room was nice, although not a close as I would have liked to downtown. About 30 min walk and driving was frustrating because it was so busy and lights change to quickly and stay red for a very long time.

Pocket Guide: 3 stars Hotels in North Yorkshire

The largest county in England, North Yorkshire, is a diverse holiday destination which offers something for every type of visitor. Kids enjoy the ample amusement parks, couples love the spa retreats, and history buffs can't get enough of York's Roman walls. The county's biggest draw, though, is its wealth of undulating countryside. Nearly half of North Yorkshire is given to National Parks and the east of the county boasts some magnificent coastline. No matter which part of the county lures you in, you can rely on finding an excellent three-star hotel in North Yorkshire.

Enjoy the Historic City of York

Outside of London, York is the most popular city to visit in England. This is due largely to the abundance of historical sites that are scattered throughout the city. The streets are lined with period buildings, but it's the castles and walls that attract most visitors. Left and right, the city is oozing with history and culture!

As such a popular holiday destination, it's no surprise that York is home to many of the best guesthouses and hotels in North Yorkshire. Hotel 53 is a modern hotel close to the city centre. It boasts all the amenities you could possible want, including meeting rooms, a dry cleaning service and extra-large family rooms. Those seeking a more traditional form of accommodation can check in to one of the city's inns.

    Pass through on Business

York is a fascinating place, packed with fun attractions and excellent bars and restaurants, but it's not solely a place of leisure. The city is also a thriving centre for business and its hotels welcome plenty of professional guests, too.

There are tons of business hotels dotted around York, but few are quite so convenient as the Park Inn by Radisson. The three-star hotel sits in the heart of town, just across the River Ouse from the main shopping district. It's easily reached by public transport and features free WiFi and an express check out option.

    Explore Wild Yorkshire

York may offer the highest concentration of attractions in North Yorkshire, but it's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg. All the real magic and beauty of this north-eastern county lies in the countryside - specifically in the National Parks of the Moors and Dales.

The Best Western Burn Hall Hotel is set in a gorgeous rural location, just south-west of the North York Moors National Park. The hotel features its very own garden, which includes a miniature golf course. Thanks to the ample space and its willingness to accept pets, it's a particular hit with travelling families.

    Indulge Yourself at the Spa

Three-Star hotels in North Yorkshire may come with a reasonable price tag, but that doesn't mean guests have to miss out on luxurious facilities. A number of the country's three-star hotels boast some great facilities. The Parsonage Hotel and Spa sets the standard high.

Guests at the Parsonage Hotel and Spa will be impressed by the pretty indoor swimming pool. There's also a full-service spa, a pair of restaurants and a fancy fitness suite.
