The reception and concierge service at the Queens hotel were brilliant, however I can not be so positive about the rest of the hotel. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with a sewage smell. The staff helped us change our room and upgraded us free of charge. The new room was bigger, however furniture was incredibly old and dated and sections of the room had not been cleaned in some time (piles of dust). The whole hotel was quite unclean. The bar was the worst case of this. It looked clean on the surface, however, the menus were covered in various liquids. Furthermore, upon trying to order drinks, I was offered a cloudy pint of ale, which should not have been served, followed by two dirty glasses. At this point we chose to go for a drink elsewhere. Due to the filthy nature of the hotel I cannot recommend.
