"It’s 30 min walk from Venezia train station. No wheelchair access through. You have to cross 8 bridges from the train station. Place is close to Rialto bridge (8 min walk) where you can ride the gondolas. "
"New and updated, still under construction during my stay in August 2025
Very good breakfast and staff are providing excellent service, even in English. Location is perfect. I would recommend it "
"Nicely renovated rooms convinently located with a cute kosher breakfast. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Reception closes at 8pm so there's no one to help if your AC doesn't work, which happened to us. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Guerrato. It was located very close to the Rialto Mercato stop for the water bus service which made transportation easy. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated being able to have a room with three beds for our older children. This hotel puts you into the heart of Venice - right beside the market and the Rialto bridge. We were able to walk to St Mark’s Square as well as to a water taxi to go to Murano Island. Such fun! Do be warned that there are lots of stairs to climb with luggage. The lobby is on the first floor up and then rooms above that. "
"Receptionist was a very lovely lady. She was so kind and helpful. The facilities were brilliant, we couldn’t ask for more. The area was in walking distance of everything! We felt really safe and trusted the hotel. Thank you x"
"The property is very close to the main square. Also tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle, but also central to all of the main points that people would want to see."
"No joke...this place is steps from St. Marks Square! Relatively easy to find. This is an older hotel so dont expect modern furniture and fixtures but the AC works (a little too well, we had to turn it up a few times lol) and thats all that mattered to me. Beds are firm but i didnt mind it. Breakfast was ok but it was complimentary, you do have to "check in" with the waitstaff and tell them the room number. I would definitely stay here again "
"The stay was great. The room was clean and well taken care of. My only complaint is lack of breakfast and coffee options. It’s either the 27.00 buffet or nothing. "
"We had an great stay at Splendid Venice! It was right in the heart of the city near the plaza and wonderful restaurants. The concierge recommended places to eat- restaurants, gelato etc. and was especially helpful. Only slide note is that breakfast is a bit on the pricey side so consider purchasing it with your room at the start or going nearby for affordability. "
