The Bauer Palladio, Guidecca Venice, was excellent in every way.
The staff were helpful and pleasant even before we got to the hotel.
The rooms were kept spotless and were very comfortable.
The free boat service to Venice drops you off very close to the Piazza St Marco and the Captain(s) were very professional but friendly.
The restaurant from morning to night cooked and prepared excellent food with the kitchens and chefs open to view.
The Spa was by far the highlight of our stay at the Palladio. Extremely proficient staff provided us our best spa experience ever and the view from the relaxation room over looking the lagoon in the direction of St Marks and the Doge's palace unforgettable.
The exchange rates certainly helped but the whole stay was very good value for the wonderful experience we had.
A little out of the way and not easy to find but on a quiet island. Staff were so helpful, patient, hard working and very efficient. Breakfast was great, very tasty in a bright room. Room was very clean and cleaned right away.

Excellent location on waters edge, easy access to water bus and all stops.
Excellent value for position but remember it is a b & b and therefore like someone's home. Perfect for our one night stay, friendly people and very comfortable bed. We had quadruple room and had views, not sure what views other rooms would have

Fabulous location, couldn't be better placed to explore Venice and the Islands using the public water buses, including the night service.
We stayed in a twin room, en-suite which was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided and although the storage space is not huge, you must remember that this is a yacht after all and holdalls or small cases are advisable.
You are ensured a warm welcome from Nelli, the host, and the buffet breakfast is excellent with plenty to chose from, including cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheese, meats, croissants, rolls, cakes, coffee, tea and toast!
Hotels in Venice don't usually have outdoor seating areas so being able to sit on the deck in the afternoon sunshine was just wonderful and so interesting watching the ocean liners and cruise ships pass by. Should I visit Venice again I will definitely stay on the yacht again.

Very nice hostel. Was in love with the decor. The staff was great. It was comfortable and I felt relaxed being here. Only downside was that it's on an island that requires use of the taxi boats which are €7 a trip or you can get the day passes. (Day passes are more cost efficient if you are staying here. Buy it as soon as you arrive if you plan to stay here). That's not really the hostels fault... just a tip. Also witnessed a very cranky woman make demands of the staff and they handled it well.
Easy access to to main sights of Venice by the free shuttle boat service. Excellent comfortable and clean facilities and continental breakfast/snacks, drinks all stocked for you to enjoy! The shuttle service was very frequent and ran on time to a set timetable making it easy to plan your time.

Ten minutes by waterbus from Piazza San Marco, the quiet residential island of Giudecca, is the place to escape the crowds. The only monument of note is Palladio’s church Il Redentore, focus of a major festival in late July. The atmosphere is typically Venetian and there are a handful of restaurants.
