Good hotel right across from the train station which made it very easy to find the hotel. Check in and check out staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing was that we left our do not disturb sign on the door before we left as we didn't want our room to be made up but when we came back the room was still made up and the do not disturb sign was gone. Overall a good hotel located at a really good location!
We had a great experience at this hotel and especially enjoyed the staff working there. They were all very nice and we especially appreciated the kindness of the person at the breakfast area. She was very gracious, kind, and welcoming. The breakfast itself was also a great plus with all sorts of good food. Maybe a disadvantage would be the fact that the shower in our room was very small. Another one is also that there is no wi-fi in bedrooms, only in the common area. However, the kindness and competence of the staff really made up for it and our overall stay was simply wonderful.
The room was better than expected with lovely furniture and decorations. The staff where really helpful and friendly, they gave us a map with an understanding of the area, a free drink whilst waiting and we were even able to check in early!
If you are looking for a charming Venice 3 star hotel , then the Al Duca di Venezia Hotel is definitely worth a look. …More
Hotel Arlecchino was perfect in many ways, it was clean and bright, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was really nice, our room was very quaint at the top of the hotel with wooden beams and a balcony no complaints at all Arlecchino is even situated right next to the bus station and is simple to find, definitely recommend the hotel Arlecchino.
"Nice hotel, close to bus station and train station"
Nice quaint hotel, excellent location, 5 mins walking distance of train and bus station and 15 min to St. Mark's square. Great restaurants close by. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Room and bathroom small
We spent one night here prior to departing on a cruise. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere of this hotel, from our room to the breakfast in the dining room. We had a great experience here and would definitely stay here again!
At the start of the Grand Canal, Santa Croce is set immediately across from the bus station and railway station. It is a peaceful quarter adjacent to, but largely unaffected by the visitor hubbub. The picturesque Ponte degli Scalzi is a great place for watching the busy canal traffic and there are many fines churches to explore off the beaten tourist track. The Rialto Bridge is only a 10-minute walk or boat ride away.
