Venissa Wine Resort

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (35)
"Great location and interesting surroundings to get away from the hectic city for a bit. However, do not go "off-season" as almost all the activities you go there for (fine food, wine tasting) was unavailable. They should just close the hotel off season to avoid disappointing guests. The staff were unfailingly polite while not offering very much. All in all, there was a stingyness with this property and experience."

When is the best time to book a B&B in Venice?

The mild climate makes wandering through the picturesque streets and visiting iconic landmarks like St. Mark's Basilica and the Rialto Bridge a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

As the high tourist season reaches its peak in July and August, visitors can expect bustling crowds, especially during the famous Venice Film Festival. However, for those who prefer a more laid-back atmosphere and still want to experience the beauty of the city, the weeks leading up to summer can be ideal. The early spring offers fewer tourists, allowing for a more intimate exploration of Venice's hidden gems without the hustle and bustle.

If you're looking to save on your travel budget, consider visiting Venice in November. This month is known for its enchanting atmosphere and fewer crowds, making it an excellent time for leisurely strolls along the canals and sampling delicious local cuisine. The city's charm shines through even as the weather cools, with temperatures averaging around 10 to 15 degrees Celsius.
