My flight to Venice got cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus. So, I had to reschedule my flight. The airline was so supportive and understanding of the situation, and rescheduled the flight free of charge! I was expecting the same from the hotel, but when I called the hotel to ask them to reschedule my reservation for one month later, they told me that I must pay 200€ more just for my two nights of stay if I want to change the dates! They were basically taking advantage of the virus outbreak and knowing that many tourists are affected by this situation, they were trying to rob people rather than helping them! It was so disrespectful and immoral of the managers! Totally disappointed!
