"No joke...this place is steps from St. Marks Square! Relatively easy to find. This is an older hotel so dont expect modern furniture and fixtures but the AC works (a little too well, we had to turn it up a few times lol) and thats all that mattered to me. Beds are firm but i didnt mind it. Breakfast was ok but it was complimentary, you do have to "check in" with the waitstaff and tell them the room number. I would definitely stay here again "

"We had an great stay at Splendid Venice! It was right in the heart of the city near the plaza and wonderful restaurants. The concierge recommended places to eat- restaurants, gelato etc. and was especially helpful. Only slide note is that breakfast is a bit on the pricey side so consider purchasing it with your room at the start or going nearby for affordability. "

Hotel is within walking distance of the water taxi (Alilaguna Blue Line) that travels between Marco Polo Airport and the cruise terminal where you check-in for MSC cruises. We could also walk to San Marco Square and explorw the waterways of Venice."
